"It went great! He checked everything and suggested a fix to a leak in my kitchen sink and repaired it and it works beautifully now! And also snaked my drains at no cost due to my maintenance agreement!"

"We have a home warranty and placed a service call through our home warranty company for AC repair. In the 20 yrs. that we have owned our home, we have had 5 different HVAC companies come out on service calls or maintenance tune ups. Max-Pro Heating and Cooling is by far the best HVAC company we have ever had. Charity the office manager and scheduler gets 5 stars for her professionalism, concern for customers and downright great service!! She also kept me updated on when technician would be able to to come out. Sean the technician was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, hard working and did a superb job for us with great attention to details!!! He took the time out to explain what he was doing along the way. We were so happy and satisfied with Max-Pro that we completed a survey for our home warranty company and we gave Max-Pro several 5 star ratings. You can't go wrong with selecting Max-Pro and we would highly recommend them."

"Ac went down a my shop last week. Jeremy had his guys out there by 2 that day and had me up and running with 2hrs. Replaced a leaky coil and fixed a couple things that I had been putting off. Price felt reasonable and he communicated everything before he did any work. Definitely putting his company in my network."

Central Vacuum Systems questions, answered by experts

Regular cleaning, sealing, and inspections help identify problems early and maintain aesthetics.

If your central vacuum has lost suction, you probably have a clog in the system. You can remove a clog yourself using a portable vacuum cleaner or central vacuum maintenance sheets. Stubborn clogs or damage to the system require a specialized technician to repair.

The best way to clean central vacuum pipes is to use a maintenance sheet to dislodge clogs and wipe the inside of the pipes clean. Alternatively, a professional can clean your central vacuum pipes for you.

They’ll use more electricity than the average upright vacuum, but not remarkably more. Most power units plug into a standard 120-volt outlet and don’t have significant power demands. You shouldn’t notice an increase in electricity bills. If you have any specific questions about energy costs, ask your installer as you examine purchase decisions. Larger power units will need more electricity for their suction levels.

It can be difficult to know right away if your central vacuum is clogged since it operates quietly compared to regular vacuums. However, there are a couple of signs you can look for. If you feel like it’s losing suction or isn’t cleaning effectively, then there’s likely a clog somewhere.

Make sure you turn the vacuum on and feel the end of the hose handle. If you don’t feel any suction, then you’re dealing with a clog in the hose. You can see if the clog is further down in the system by attaching the hose to each outlet until you find the one with the least amount of suction.
