"It's not possible to overstate how well John Henry and the crew of Affordable Concrete did on this project. They replaced an aging patio and step, and installed a landing and a new adjoining 15' sidewalk for us. John called immediately after I requested a bid, and he traveled to look at the jobsite within a few hours. John listened carefully to my requests and made ALL of my concerns his own as he worked on the project. He treated all my communication urgently, and always responded immediately to my calls and texts. He fully informed me of what to expect on each stage of the project, and actually completed things faster than his original projected timeline. His pricing was more than fair and he went above and beyond on several aspects of the work. Though I fully expected the concrete job to look nice, it actually turned out even better than I could have hoped for. The level of craftsmanship displayed is perfection. All the edges, cuts, lines and finishing are exactly correct. There was no leftover construction mess, and they left the jobsite (much) better than the way they found it. I fully recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Also, I want to mention that John and crew treated very gently and respectfully an aging family member with dementia that would sometimes come outside to "help" while they were onsite working."

They were very attentive to my needs, not forcing anything at me. Listened carefully, and were very accommodating to help make the total project work right. Super friendly people that were nice to my wife and kids. They gave great value for reasonable price, and went above and beyond to ensure things I didn't even ask for were taken care of. Very competent in what they do, and I am happy with the two slabs they did for me of 13 yd3 in total. They also worked long days and even in the rain and at night to help make sure their work met the grade. I took care of the payment to the cement company and paid them separately, and it all worked out fine. I would definitely recommend them for their honesty, hard work, competency and good nature to take care of anyone with a home project."

"The owner returned my call after about 2 hours of leaving a message. He came to give an estimate the next morning, was very professional and personable. Measured and gave an estimate that was below what we anticipated. The tear out proceeded quickly and smoothly without any damage to fence or other structures. He noted that the ground that was to be paved was soft due to high moisture content from recent rains and cracks in old asphalt, so he recommended delaying the paving a day for drying. Paving was done the next day and looks great. No pressure, professional, friendly, and beautiful results. I would hire them for other work!
