Renew Crew started as Wood Re New in March 1993 in Springfield Missouri. In 1993 we began researching products and realized there was a need for an exterior wood care expert that could clean and maintain decks, fences, docks, cedar and redwood siding. Hence, Wood Re New was born. During the second year in business, with the assistance of a chemist, Stan developed an environmentally safe cleaner specifically for exterior wood. This cleaner is actually a thick foam that clings to vertical surfaces better, and achieves amazing results. After restoring the wood’s original beauty we apply our exclusive Protectant to safeguard it from further damage by the elements. Our proprietary protectant repels water and blocks harmful u.v. rays and gives wood a rich, new appearance. Wood Re New started as a home based business and now occupies a 4000 sq. ft. location. In 2013, the year of 20th Anniversary, we became Renew Crew! T & S went above and beyond. They looked for vintage flooring to match and customized the old-fashioned trim to match perfectly - no easy task b/c this trim and flooring type is no longer made. They smoothed and prepped the wall (plaster/lathe/wallpaper - difficult to work with) for me in areas not related to the lighting installation, knowing I’d be painting soon. Fast, friendly, and professional service. They were prepared with all supplies. They cleaned and organized the work space thoroughly before leaving every day they were there (2-3 days). They were responsive and straightforward throughout the project, gave helpful advice when I asked, and sought out ways to save me money. The transformation was major and i’m very happy with the results."

"This company built my deck and we were very satisfied with the work. A few months down the line the ceiling was leaking. They honored their warranty and came to repair the ceiling. Since then we had them two more times to make repairs. But, the leaks only got worse and now our ceiling is collapsing. We were told that it was the gutters, so we paid $896 to install top of the line gutters. Still, the leaks continue. I emailed the company on November 3rd with pictures, asking them for an estimate on repairs, knowing that the warranty is expired. I contacted another contractor who said that the pitch of the roof wasn't adequate enough to run the water down off the roof. So we will be charged at least $4500-$5000 more to make repairs. I am disappointed in Tri-Lakes. We really liked the owner,mouth he hasn't been able to,resolve this issue for us. So here we go again."

A to Z also converted our wood burning fireplace into an infrared electric fireplace and custom built trim to hold the new fireplace in the opening. My husband and I are elderly and the wood fireplace was of no use to us due to the physical aspects of carrying wood and cleaning ash. The electric fireplace is the perfect solution to add warmth while keeping the utility bills low! We have had several home items addressed (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, handyman tasks) by this company and would highly recommend them for all your home needs!"

The painters painted unevenly, missed places and painted areas they should not have. My stained deck was painted. My yard and bushes were painted. My driveway had paint on it. Areas that should have been taped on the house were not. My foundation of my house was painted. The painters left their trash in my yard. Now I have them coming back for the 3rd time to see if they can undo the damage they did. This is so bad I think it may not be fixable..."
