"We contacted Doerr Enterprises this last fall to trim our tree in our front yard that was looking a little sad. He was very prompt to get to the job, get it done and cleaned up! We have also hired him for the first snow we got so far this year and he cleaned our drive in no time! Would highly recommend his services!"

"Not only have I used Geren Roofing for my roofing needs on some of my personal/investment homes but I consistently refer my real estate clients to them as well. When people ask me, "who would you use" I tell them that Mike at Geren Roofiing is my Go-To Guy. I know that Mike is going to shoot me a competitive bid that's based on good, honest work with good materials. He's always been upfront and honest if the roof could use repairs instead of replacement, which I appreciate greatly. Mike runs a great crew, the clean up is impeccable and work is done in a timely fashion. I'll continue using Geren Roofing for as long as Mike is still throwing shingles down!"

"It is a not good time in my life, my father passed and I knew I needed to get things taken care of. I was only just looking to get an idea of what to expect for price and who could handle what I needed when the owner called me up. He was ready for an almost immediate meet up to give me an estimate and did an amazing job keeping me updated as to when he would show up. I was just trying to get an idea of where to even start and he showed up like the first piece of good news in a long time. The estimate was more than fair, and his team was ready to start the next morning. The next morning they were ready early and got so much accomplished. The estimate was two to three days and I thought that was very ambitious. Clearly I have been conditioned to not expect people to follow through. Kody and his crew really showed me what it means to be a professional. I knew how the owner presented himself and it felt too good to be true, so I was low-key worried the rest of the crew cant be as professional or on the ball. Boy howdy that feels like a mistake because each and every member was so polite and so professional. I am honestly so blown away. They were knocking stuff out hard and fast, we often felt in the way trying to help our advise on what stayed and what went. Their manners and professionalism shined through consistently. I was clearly a mess and could of them had checked to see how I was holding up. That meant more to me than I can put into words. Im not used to people I know being that attentive and these guys, complete strangers and and showed real care and commission. They would always check on items to ensure they didnt accidentally get rid of anything important. I figured that had to slow them down considerably but once again, boy I was mistaken. They took down what I figured would take two days, inside the first day. The second day I thought the daunting task of coming back to hell house would have dampened their spirits and they would begin questioning all their life choices that brought then this far. Again, I had underestimated just how driven and focused the crew was. I had an important meeting at the house to deal with things to come and after the individuals left one of the gentlemen who had tried talking to me the day before stopped to see how I was holding up. Being alone and facing the daunting future of how I was possibly going to do everything, you'd meant the world g to me. They would talk to me while they were accomplishing these huge tasks and never made me feel like I was in the way of a bother. That kind of personalisation, taking time to do stuff they were not hired for, it made me feel normal for the first time in a while. I knew after the first meeting where I was just looking for a quote, I would write a positive review. Seeing then get done in two days what I thought would take more, and doing such a good job on top of it, this was a review that needed to be written. If you need a job done, even if it seems huge, these are the individuals you want to call immediately. Dont hesitate at all. The prices could not be beat and the results are unbelievable. When I get to the point of needing help again, even if he didnt offer to work with me on pricing again, I still would not hesitate to call this team. Literally the best Ive seen."

"The work was done during a spell of 90+ to 100 degree temperatures and the A/C unit outside had to be removed in order dig 6 feet down. Tomahawk brought in professional grade fans to cool the home, brought in a de-humidifier making an effort to keep us comfortable. Before they could begin digging, they had to remove shrubs and landscape rocks which were hauled away. The project was completed 3 years ago and so far all is well.

"Provider was very prompt. I originally contacted him for an estimate and he came out same day to do an estimate. Then once I had chosen him for the job (He was by far the lowest bid) they were immediately ready to conduct the work. Literally a 5 day turn around from the day he did the estimate to do the day they performed the job.  His crew showed up promptly early in the morning and spent a descent amount of time prepping the house, moving items away from house, covering areas and garage doors.   The entire job was almost completed in one day but due to the time of year with short days  and an accident that occurred on site which caused an hour delay they did have to come back the next morning to finish up which is totally understandable. Once completed the main contractor conducted a final inspection to make sure everything looks good and the crew was very diligent in going around the yard making sure all debris were picked up.  Overall they did a wonderful job and the roof looks great however I will note the only blemish to the experience was the 2+ weeks after they completed the work to come back and do a final inspection, present me with my paperwork, and do some additional cleanup of material that was left in the yard.

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

Yes, most states require that snow removal companies be insured under workers' compensation. This protects the employees financially if an injury were to happen (and when dealing with ice and snow, it’s possible that injury could occur). In addition, most states require snow removal companies to be covered under general liability, which would help cover the cost of any property damage incurred during the removal process.

Some commercial services use sand when clearing ice, but that’s to add instant traction, not to melt the ice. While you can scatter kitty litter, sand, or similar substances on steps, paths, or porches to improve safety during icy conditions, they won’t help melt hardened ice. Rely on salt or other de-icing methods to fully melt away stubborn ice.

Costs depend on property size, snowfall frequency, and additional services like de-icing or hauling snow offsite.

You can quickly melt snow on your driveway by adding rock salt, hot water, de-icer, and other melting products. These snow removal methods will quickly melt any snow on slippery ice from your driveway, making it safer to maneuver. For a more permanent solution, consider using melting mats or installing a heated driveway system.

While most people associate defrosting icy roads with salt, you can also use sugar for a similar result. Sugar lowers the freezing point of water, melting ice in a pinch.

However, sugar doesn’t melt ice as well as salt because it doesn’t separate the water molecules as efficiently. So, if you need to quickly melt a stubborn patch of ice on your driveway or walkway, it’s best to use salt over sugar for faster results.
