"This review is a long time coming, but it does give me perspective since we have been living with these changes for a while now.The first project was started in late 2013 and finished in  January 2014. It consisted of moving the laundry room to the second floor of our home. The master bedroom is adjoined to the fourth bedroom where we decided to enlarge that room's closet for our washer and dryer, closer to all our bedrooms. The original laundry room was converted to a pantry. The other part of this project was enlarging our master bedroom walk-in closet. It was very narrow and divided into two areas by a wall and door. Young Remodeling managed the project well and had excellent contractors. They provided excellent quality  workmanship in all aspects of the project including extending hardwood flooring into the pantry, tiling the new laundry room floor, installing bi-fold doors, refinishing the ceilings and painting the walls and trim, building the pantry shelves, rerouting electrical and water services to the new laundry location and more. Total cost was about $25,000.
The second project was the kitchen remodel. This project was suppose to start in August 2014, the cabinetry had been received and they were ready to start demolition when a medical issue arose that meant we had to postpone the project. Young was very gracious to hold our new cabinetry in storage until we could restart the project in April, 2015. We had a new kitchen by the end of May. The project consisted of a radically different layout. We worked with Young's designer to come up with a great plan.They provided lots of drawings and paid attention to details to optimize our new kitchen. All of the cabinets were replaced and Young installed all of our new appliances. They re-stained the hardwood floor that extends into our family room. They rewired the kitchen and moved the canned light fixtures to better meet the needs of the new layout and installed our new pendant light fixtures over our new island. They refinished our ceiling, painted and the trim and walls. They figured out the best way to vent the new cook top from it's new location.They installed the new granite counter tops, the new exterior door and a large window. In the family room, in addition to re-staining the hardwood floor, they painted the walls and trim, refinished the ceiling and replace our original wood mantle with a stone mantle. The quality of their work was again outstanding. Both Jenny in the office and Rex in the field were very easy to work with. Rex came back recently(September) and fixed a cabinet problem and converted our pantry shelves from adjustable to fixed, for heavier loading at no charge! Total cost was about $60,000. This did not include the new appliances, window, sink and faucet or pendant light fixtures.
So, now over a 1 1/2 years from the first project and 4 months since the kitchen remodel... we love it all and wouldn't change a thing! We are now working on a list of changes we want to make in other parts of or house and Young Remodeling will be our first choice.

The 2nd visit was to his showroom so that I could see the different products that he offers.  It's a great sales presentation.

I had no misgivings.  While I paid for the design layout, which I received, I did expect a sales pitch to provide the cabinets and installation.

"When Jeff came by to give me an estimate, he did a temporary "quick fix" on my door so I could lock it. I so appreciated this, because up until that time I was using a rod to block the door.
Jeff ALWAYS kept in touch with me giving me a realistic time frame for project completion.
All finished projects, the deck, the front door and the interior painting were  PERFECTLY done.
I couldn't have been happier with ALL of his work.

"The overall result is better than we expected. Webster was the person responsible for our overall job and he was excellent. He was dedicated to making sure everything was done well and made sure things were repaired beyond the original estimate. Our home is 50 years old, so there were some repairs that were unforeseen. "When rehabbing our new home, we contacted Castle Rock for a bid on new windows, soffit, and fascia board.  The salesperson, Matt, responded immediately to our request to meet and review the various product options.  He was punctual, very courteous, and knowledgeable about the full array of products the company carries.  In addition to printed materials describing the products, the software he had that allowed us to compare various options, styles, pricing, etc. was very helpful.  Matt came to the house two more times as we explored various options for replacing the existing windows and looking at various configurations that would fir in the existing casements and where we were replacing a door with windows.  His knowledge and experience were invaluable to us from a design perspective while working toward "the look" we wanted for the home.  We then went to the showroom and met with the Manager, Jamie.  He was also very helpful and showed us all of the options and styles we were considering "hands-on".  We did look at other companies but decided working with Castle Rock was our best option.  Matt ordered all of the windows and other materials and everything arrived within the scheduled time frame.  Matt worked with our General Contractor to arrange for the materials to be delivered and installed in a manner that facilitated the project staying on track and not disrupting other contractors.  The windows arrived and were perfectly installed on the date promised.  The installers did an excellent job.  The soffit and fascia work went similarly and we had discussions with Matt about some ways to improve the installation as the job was underway and the work order was adjusted accordingly.  After all the work was complete, we ran into two minor issues.  With the heat and drought, a couple pieces of the soffit separated slightly due to the backing to which they were attached moving.  We called Matt, he came and looked at it, and a repair was completed within a week on the day he promised.  The work looks perfect again.  We also had a small circular ding in one of the windows (possibly from debris hitting it during a storm?).  When we called Matt and asked him how to proceed with the warranty, he told us how to find the serial number on the window and to call the office.  They ordered the replacement window that day under the warranty.  It arrived quickly and we went and picked it up and installed the replacement-a perfect fit.  Start to finish, Matt and his colleagues at Castle Rock did a great job for us and they will always be our first choice for the types of services they provide that we may need."

"He did the work, then the concrete developed chotes, I called him, he came out, and he told me that they would be back to do some touch-up work.  I have called him over 5 times and he tells me that they will come out to fix the problem. It has been over 7 months of consistent contact and they still have not fixed the problem.

After my complaint, John sent someone to repair the defect and it is repaired to the best of their ability and as well as could be expected."

Originally I purchased an Angie's Deal.  It expired before I could use it and Keith was great about honoring it.  While his crew was repairing some rotted wood on the garage, Keith came by and gave me a quote on installing vinyl siding on the garage.  I agreed with his price and the work began the next day.  He also fixed some bowed out boards around the gutters so the gutters would drain properly.

Initially, back when I was scheduling the Angie's Deal after the due date, he was hard to get in touch with.  However, once we started this project he was always responsive and on top of things.
