"They did a great job on the stucco and the painting later. One of the guys slipped and dumped some paint on the roof. He called and told me about it and they had someone come out a few days later and fixed it up like it hadn't happened."

"Jacque Dupuy "JD" (the owner of Woodrotsolutions) and his crew Danny and Rocky were absolutely
the best window company I have ever used.  They were very careful around my home and constantly cleaned and picked up after themselves.  Their installation of the windows was flawless and without mishap.  One window was found to be defective on which they called the supplier immediately to get a replacement.  They even cleaned the windows before and after installation, as necessary.  All window companies I used prior to Woodrotsolutions would often leave fingerprints, smears of sealant, tape, etc., for me to clean up.
These men were very knowledgeable and did not hesitate to educate me on the many aspects of window and wood rot replacement when asked.  They were very helpful and are a great bunch to work with.  I feel they are totally trustworthy.
I have plans to have more windows replaced by this company as soon as the weather warms up a bit.
Please note:  They are not painters so do not expect them to paint.  They were up front about this as their business is windows, not painting.  If you know this there should not be a problem.

"We hired Sissi company to first remove mold from our roof shaded by a big tree. Lewis did a great job and sprayed chlorine in the end to kill the mold that were hard to remove. We then hired him to paint our outside wooden wall. Lewis painted quite carefully and respected and accommodated our requests. After this work done, he did basement waterproofing project for us as well. It saved our basement from flooding during this winter. In the end, Lewis also fixed our water sink sewage pipe and several lights in the house. Lewis is also a very friendly guy and he charged reasonably. I strongly recommend him."

"Jim and his team came out to take care of a growing crack and small footing/structural issue on our entryway. Though it was generally tough to get anyone to show up, they came out, bid and began work within 2 weeks of first contact which was appreciated. While working on our house they also completed some extra repairs on a cracked archway for our front door, more repointing on the face of the house and the chimney and I hired them to help put on our chimney caps - a project I had been told a half dozen times "couldn't be done" because of the style of our flue or contractors would disappear on me. They spent the time to do their best to match the mortar color to our historic home's mortar color. No mix is going to be a 100% match because of various factors (including age), but of the two times we've had masons out to do repairs their initial mortar mixing was pretty spot on in color and texture. Our most problematic area ended up cracking slightly again after repairs, but Jim had one of his guys back out to repoint the area again. This time with a slightly different color, but without extra charge. Overall Jim's team did an excellent job, addressed any concerns I had and made sure the job was done properly to preserve the historic nature of our home as best as possible."

"We needed to remove stucco to replace 2- 3-wide bank of windows. Phil pointed out wood rot areas around the windows and discussed several options. He removed additional stucco to repair the wood rot and worked with the window installer to insure an excellent foundation for the windows. Once installation of windows was complete Phil promptly reinstalled stucco and spend a significant amount of time insuring the pattern and color of the stucco matched the existing stucco. Phil was easy to work with and went beyond the scope of the project but only charged for a portion of the additional time he spent including a couple of extra trips to our house.

"1st, met with John on time, as promised, and reviewed the driveway, walk and stoop to figure the best solution to repair and resurface.
After contract was signed, workers arrived on time with all tools and supplies needed. This was the hottest week of summer and I must say the workers performed beyond my expectations to complete.
Very satisfied with result and would highly recommend ClassiConcrete."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

You should aim to let stucco dry for at least 48 hours before it rains. While misting new stucco and keeping it moderately moist is important for strength and longevity, uncontrolled exposure to rain can lead to weak stucco that doesn’t bond properly. Rain can also affect the stucco finish and the color unevenly, leaving you with less appealing siding.

Damage is often caused by moisture, impact, or settling. Regular maintenance prevents significant issues.

Properly installed and maintained stucco can last 50 to 100 years, making it one of the longest-lasting siding materials available. This durable material is known for its durability, and as long as you clean and waterproof it regularly and promptly repair any damage, it’ll protect your home for decades to come.

The cost to replace the chimney crown or top is about $1,550 on average. The range varies widely depending on the size of the chimney, the materials used, accessibility, and the extent of the damage. If you suspect a problem with your chimney top, call a professional masonry contractor for an inspection.

Yes, you can screw directly into stucco. Only do so if the item you are installing is a permanent fixture. Drill a pilot hole into the stucco using a masonry or concrete bit, then drive in the screw with a power drill or screwdriver.
