"PBA Siding was fantastic to work with. We replaced our old batten board siding with James Hardie fiber cement. They also replaced our garage doors and front/back doors. They were very reasonable on price, with fantastic craftsmanship. Their crew cleaned up after every shift, and they worked incredibly ho*** ** our house. The house looks brand new, and we are so thankful to PBA Siding! My parents are now also using them on their house, highly recommend!!"
"Had my roof replaced today! Chris Huey with Becker Exteriors was amazing. Contacted me on Monday and had roof done on Saturday! Great communication, quality work, good price, awesome crew! I would highly recommend them and will use again for other projects."
"Vineyard Remodeling was prompt in providing an estimate and when I decided on their service the next day they were here. The defective stucco was removed, repaired and the replacement process began. The workers were professional, courteous and the end result is gorgeous! I would hire them again in a heartbeat."
"They did roof inspection and maintenance. A dozen shingles were replaced and the roof was caulked/sealed. Their response was timely, work was well done and the price was reasonable. Overall a good experience!"

"Basically we were VERY DISAPPOINTED in the workmanship of installers. We picked Window World because we wanted a medium priced alternative to replace windows in our 60's house and also because Angie's list rated them high on installation. Workers were polite and cleaned up after themselves, but after we started looking closely there were horrible problems with the installation. We had quarter inch gaps in the trim boards around the inside of windows where the boards had been ,knocked loose in taking out the old windows. Trim boards were loose and installers had not renailed or caulked around them. Plus in bathroom areas where we had casement windows installed the caulking on inside (which is very visible) was uneven and rough. We called the company back and a week later they came back to fix what hadn't been done. They did get the loose boards and forgotten caulking done. The bathroom caulking looks better but is still rough. We haven't been able to sand it and paint because it is the flexile type of caulking that is rubbery. Again -- we are disappointed, but I guess you get what you pay for.
"High quality work! Josh called, came out & provided estimate same day that my request was sent. Within 2 days Frank arrived & completed all the projects that same day. Shall definitely rehire!"
"We had an amazing experience with Bordner Home Improvement on our siding project. From Armond taking my first call and answering questions, to Joel talking us through each option and helping us decide colors (we picked Deep Ocean and Artic White trim). From Stefanie and Crystal in the office helping with questions along the way and Cliff being available almost all day, every day during our week of install. I had so much anxiety the week of construction, not knowing what they'd find tearing off siding on a 66 year old house. Cliff was so patient and walked us through every issue that came up. He ensured all of our fears and concerns were addressed and helped us find practical solutions to some placement issues we had with vents, lights and wires on our old house. Everything looks absolutely amazing and we're so happy with our new fiber cement siding! We look forward to working with Bordner on furture home projects (next, we want a red front door)! Thank you to the entire Bordner team!"
It typically takes around 30 to 60 minutes for a window pro to replace one window in standard siding types, but a window in stucco will likely take a bit longer because of the density of materials. Custom architectural windows usually require a longer replacement process because of the additional fitting and securing required.
All of the components of stucco are non-combustible, so the siding material won’t ignite or spread fire to the interior of your home. However, it also expands and contracts with changes in temperature, so it will crack from long exposure to heat. Eventually, fire will spread through those cracks. Still, stucco is one of the best siding materials for fire protection and can keep you and your family safe for an hour, on average.
Properly installed and maintained stucco can last 50 to 100 years, making it one of the longest-lasting siding materials available. This durable material is known for its durability, and as long as you clean and waterproof it regularly and promptly repair any damage, it’ll protect your home for decades to come.
Yes, you can screw directly into stucco. Only do so if the item you are installing is a permanent fixture. Drill a pilot hole into the stucco using a masonry or concrete bit, then drive in the screw with a power drill or screwdriver.
Homeowners insurance may cover the cost of siding repair or replacement, but coverage depends on the cause of the damage. Most policies will cover damage from a covered event, such as a storm, wind, hail, fire, natural disaster, or other impact damage. Your policy might pay for the full or partial cost of the repair or replacement. However, damage resulting from age, general wear and tear, or neglect is typically not covered, and you should expect to pay for those repairs out of pocket. It is best to review your specific homeowners insurance policy for full details on what is covered, how to file a claim, and what documentation is required.
