"I am very satisfied.  Terry was responsive thru the process, even though the weather was iffy for this type of work and it was around Thanksgiving.  The bid was half that of another bid I received for the same work.  Looks perfect and they went above and beyond, in repairing additional areas around the front door that I hadn't even requested.

"The work was completed in a timely manner. The gutters were rehung using extra hangers every 12 inches instead of the original 24 inches. There was a strong downpour the day after the work was completed and the rainwater flowed in the downspouts correctly."

"CW shows up on time. He does everything very quickly but detailed at the same time. If you have a list of "honey do list", stop fighting with your spouse regarding who should do what, and just have CW do them for you. I count myself pretty handy, but what would take me an hour would only take him 20 minutes to do. I have started writing down a list of things needed to be done around the house, and then will just call him up when we have a good amount.

"We had a list of things that we needed done.  Al contacted us promptly and visited to look at the scope of the issue with our bathroom.  We thought the damage we had was from the water coming from the shower, but he readily diagnosed it as cracks in the exterior wall.  Someone came and did the tuckpointing on the next warm day, and the following week Al and his team did the rest of the work.  They were quick, communicative, and affordable.

Crew showed up on time each day and went right to work.  Cleaned up each day before they left.  They were great to work with and delivered what they promised.  This was a small job but they treated it as if it were the only job they had.

It is to my shame that I took so long to write this review.  I've ben too busy enjoying the patio (maybe not so much during current season).

Glass Block questions, answered by experts

Options include tempered, laminated, and tinted glass for various needs.

Yes, many professionals provide custom-cut glass replacements for enclosures that require precise sizing.

You can still see vaguely into some types of glass block windows at night. Although there won’t be clear definitions, passersby may still see shapes, shadows, and movement through the glass. If you want complete privacy, consider installing diamond glass block windows rather than the typical clear or wavy glass blocks.

Heavy glass tends to be more expensive than thin glass because it is stronger and more durable. In most cases, ¼-inch-thick glass is ideal for mirrors, and ⅛-inch-thick glass is ideal for residential windows. Heavier glass isn’t always necessary, and can be more challenging to hang or install. Work with a local window installation pro for replacement or new construction windows.

Glass block mortar is the best choice for glass block window units. It is specifically formulated for glass block window installation. Glass block mortar is usually a mixture of Portland cement, sand, and special chemicals. It is a white mortar that is applicable inside and outside your home. Do not use regular tile mortar because it may not have the binding strength and flexibility required for glass block windows.
