Small jobs welcome

"I have have had a number of others clean the gutters on my house over the years and have been dissatisfied with most of them. Greg did the best job, by far, than any of the others. He was very thorough, proficient and efficient. I also very much liked the method he used and was very reasonable in his pricing. In addition, I found him to be very timely and dependable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and plan to call on him myself for future services."

"They did a wonderful job and were great to work with. They replace some porch boards, painted the garage door and front door, replaced weatherstripping around garage, painted the trim around the front of the house and the windows as well as painted the porch. They had started work and had to pause because of a storm but were really prompt about rescheduling to two days later and got the job done really well. Would definitely recommend and we plan to hire them again!"

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Blueprints are generally available for houses built after the early 1900s. Before then, detailed building schematics like blueprints were rarely used and even more rarely saved. If you have an older house and need blueprints, you can have a new set drawn up by an architect or draftsperson.

You can draw your own house plans using three-dimensional modeling software, but in most cases, you’ll need an architect to draw up the final plans. Architects understand local building regulations and requirements, so their plans will be necessary for getting permits approved, and they’ll also ensure your home is structurally sound. DIY house plans can be a good place to start to help visualize your project, but you should always defer to a professional before trying to proceed with the project.

Yes, many providers offer design consultations to create unique structures. Confirm with your contractor.

You'll find Arts and Crafts homes across the country in varying styles. On the East Coast, bungalows and Tudor Revivals fill the Boston area through New Jersey. In the West, Mission-style homes incorporate terracotta shingles, white stucco siding, and rounded archways.

Professional remodelers streamline the process, manage permits, and handle renovations efficiently—significantly mitigating risk while maintaining standards.
