"They did really great work. I donâ t live in the area of my property so I admit I was a bit worried, but no need to be! "Martin Daley (PRECISION PAINTING) and his crew did a outstanding job on painting my brick home. They touched up wooden trim when they thought it needed it, no extra charge for this, in fact one area (wooden trim) he put three coats on before he was satisfied with the way it looked to him. I could not be more pleased with the professional job they did for me. I am waiting on a color match to paint the 6 shutters.. So wait until next week before you drive by and check it out. In most cases, you don’t need a permit to repave your driveway, although some exceptions exist. If your new pavers look dull or unclean, it is likely due to efflorescence, a chalky, white powder that forms when lime in the pavers gets wet. This condition often resolves on its own, as rain will naturally wash it away within about a year. For faster results, you can use a pressure washer to clean the pavers. Alternatively, consider using cleaning products specifically designed to remove efflorescence or applying sulfuric acid crystals.

The most obvious disadvantage of permeable paving is that the cost is typically higher compared to non-permeable concrete, pavers, or asphalt methods. Also, the porous material can get clogged with dirt and debris, requiring cleaning and power washing more frequently than standard paving materials and methods. Although permeable paving is not ideal for highways, airports, and other surfaces supporting heavy traffic and machinery, it is suitable for regular residential driveways.

After removing existing moss, consider using paver blocking sand to fill the joints. This specialty material hardens once placed and serves as an effective barrier against moss and weeds. From there on, regularly clean your pavers and try to keep them dry. You can also seal your paver as a semi-permanent solution — just make sure you reseal every 3 to 5 years.

You should place a layer of thick landscaping fabric directly over the concrete slab and then a thin layer of leveling sand over that to protect the pavers from moisture. For border pavers, you should plan on locking them in place with polyurethane adhesive. This will prevent them from shifting under foot traffic.
