"It went extremely well. The man doing the power washing was very friendly and patient. Our driveway has never looked better. They mold and mildew is gone. We use them in the future to remove the mold from our rear patio and to clean our deck. It was an excellent experience."

"The service was great. There were no additional charges on top of the $159 Big Deal cost. Scheduling was fine. There wasn’t any problem. I just think that the carpet looked better than probably I had for a long time when I had other people clean it. They did a good job. I think I referred them to my daughter."

"Excellent! Great customer service. Punctual, professional. The crew took meticulous care of every detail. Covered nails with caulk. Not a drop of paint left anywhere. Perfect job. Even put weatherstripping on my door. Hung the shutters. I highly recommend this company. Thanks."

"Responded quickly, the owner cam out the day the work was done. They sent several people to do the work - so they were done in no time. On time, pleasurable to work with. Ended up coming back to clean my neighbors windows and did the neighbors gutters as well. It was a great experience for the whole neighborhood! Everyone has been extremely pleased."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.

DIY is possible, but professional services ensure even removal, safety compliance, and proper cleanup.

The disadvantages of sandblasting are noise, mess, and risk. Sandblasters are louder than chainsaws and spread debris on the ground and through the air. Let your neighbors know that you're sandblasting so they can prepare. Sandblasting can damage your property if not done properly, so thoroughly vet any pros you talk to before hiring.

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.

Regular sealing and repainting help maintain the restored surface’s durability.
