"I have just had my final meeting with Joe Wire, who sold me on using Hoffman Weber. My siding project was finished a couple weeks ago. I had a great experience with this company from beginning to end. They explained everything, answered questions and helped solve every issue. My house was built in 1928 so it needed a new facelift. It is worth every penny to end up with such a maintenance free, great looking house. I also had them do a new seamless membrane flat roof on my three-season porch. Bryan, my project manager, was available all through the project to answer any questions and keep me updated on the project. He was so thorough and stopped by multiple times to check on everything. Boris, my installer, is an artist! He worked 6 days a week with his brother, installing all the siding and trim. Everything is done to perfection. He really does quality work and takes his time making sure everything is perfect. The roofers did my porch roof so I will never have to worry about a leaky roof. They stayed extra late to make sure they got it done before a snow storm hit the following day. I couldn’t be happier with my “new” house. I highly recommend Hoffman and Weber. They are so easy to work with, friendly, knowledgeable, problem solvers and I know they really cared about my project from beginning to end. It was a pleasure to work with Joe, Bryan, Boris and his brother. Thank you for all the expert work. I have already had lots of compliments on my house."

"Paul and Dan were very professional and their attention to detail was amazing. They really took the time with us upfront in the planning phase to do multiple drawings and alterations to the original plan to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Once we decided on a final direction they got to work immediately with obtaining permits and ordering windows for our project and other than a few weather delays completed the project on time. When the work began they made great progress and took the time to bring up ideas to make the project better. Our house was built in 1906 and the craftmanship that Paul and Dan possess to make the interior trim match the existing trim was more than we could have hoped for. They did a great job matching the exterior shakes and paint work to make the addition look like it had always been here. In the end, we are absolutely thrilled with our new living space and how much nicer it is than we envisioned it turning out. Paul and Dan completed the project on time and on budget. We have already asked them to replace a few windows in the house and have recommended them to several friends/neighbors/family members for upcoming projects. We would absolutely use Five Star again for any upcoming projects."

"The fence Hal built around my property in South Minneapolis is absolutely beautiful.  For the price listed, he removed my old, rusted chain link fence and installed a custom, hand-built fence around the entire back yard. Unlike other fence builders with whom I met, Hal makes the fence himself, piece-by-piece, and puts everything together on location. 
Construction took a few weeks due to a thoroughly disappointing situation with the neighbors as well as very frequent rain, but Hal always returned my phone calls and kept me updated.  He also responded professionally and kindly to a last-minute change in design.  I simply love spending time in my new backyard!  I couldn?t be happier with the work Hal has done on my property."
