He had to fill some cracks, edge the grass from the driveway, and sealcoat a apprx 80 ft long drive with turnaround. He arrived on time the mourning of the appointment and finished the job in a very professional and quality manner. I highly recommend Tom for any sealing job. Ours was a pretty big job and the price was a bit higher than I expected but after it was done and seeing the work he had to do I was very pleased with everything."

"I didn't like them very well. The quality was okay, and I got charged a bundle more because I had not had the sprinkler system going year after year, which is understandable. But he did something that he said he would not charge for, and they took it off my credit card without my permission and I was not happy with them when I saw my credit card statement. I don't appreciate people using my card without my authorization, it is not professional, and I think they still owe me money back for that service."

Initially we contacted him to replace some 65yr old windows, and he was the only contractor to bring to our attention that we had hail damage on the window wraps, siding, gutters, and roof. His experience really helped us thru the insurance claim process and it ended up being a huge cost savings for us. We were so impressed with his customer service, we decided to have him convert our 1-season porch into a 3-season porch, install tile flooring, replace some doors, and paint the interior and exterior of our home. He listened to our ideas, gave us options and suggestions, and helped create solutions for all of the projects. "The workers on site were wonderful -- we were very happy with the work as it was being performed, and they were very careful with surrounding area (drive, sidewalk, lawn) and did an excellent job overall. They were friendly and very respectful of us and our home/yard - a joy to have around.
My dissatisfaction was with the level of responsiveness I received from the owner after accepting his bid and sending a deposit check in (up until the deposit was sent, he was very quick to give a bid, explain the process, and return calls to answer questions).
After being told that the landscape crew was "a few weeks out" it took about 6 weeks for the job to happen, and that was after several calls to the owner to get an update on status. I understand that other projects ahead of mine may fall behind schedule or go beyond scope, however I was never updated on timing at all and was left wondering if he even received the paperwork with the deposit check. The only proactive note I received from him was the email on Friday at 5p indicating that the crew can start Monday morning, and 'will someone be there that morning'.
Upon project completion, my husband inadvertently gave payment in full, per the invoice, to the lead worker at the site (not factoring in the deposit check I sent in 6 weeks earlier to secure the bid). After immediately contacting the owner to let him know about the mistake, I asked him not to cash the check. I received no reply, and 3 weeks later the check was cashed. Now I need to go thru the hassle of trying to get that deposit money refunded. While the work performed was wonderful, the business management and
customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
