"Tyler and Derrick did a beautiful job with installing our pond. We especially appreciated Tyler’s design sensibility when her artfully arranged rocks to form a waterfall and along the front of the pond. He also advised us on aquatic plants and fish that were suitable for our pond. They worked efficiently and took care to reduce the impact of installation on surrounding plants. The cost for the work was fair and reasonable."

"I would HIGHLY recommend Chris for your deck project! He is clear in his explanations and responsive to questions. He communicated with us throughout the process. Even better, he was concerned throughout about getting the project right and not just getting it done. We were unhappy with many of the companies that we contacted for quotes, but Chris was a pleasure throughout the process. No matter what our projects in the future, we'll be contacting him first."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Smaller, pondless water features like bird baths, self-contained fountains, and bubbling rocks are much lower maintenance than their counterparts that include ponds. Pondless features help you avoid high pond maintenance costs and allow you to spend more time enjoying the water feature and less time on upkeep.

Regular water testing, debris removal, and seasonal maintenance ensure healthy water quality.

Like pools, ponds can be a safety risk, so they may increase your homeowners insurance. Be sure to let your insurance company know if you build a pond on your property—they may have safety requirements in order to keep your premium from increasing.

One of the most important parts of building a pond is digging the right depth. Your pond needs to be at least one to two feet deep. The specifics of the depth will depend on factors such as the placement of the pond and whether you plan on having fish. If you have fish in your pond, it will need to be at least two feet deep.

Ponds enhance landscapes, support wildlife, and create a tranquil outdoor environment.
