Not an easy job, but they were able to dig underneath the porch stoop and fix a break of unknown cause. I was back in my house much sooner than expected and a very reasonable cost. McDonough's Services returned my call the same day I called them, and scheduled cleaning the pipe(s) the following day. I received another call the next day confirming someone would be out, and the technician called shortly after that to let me know he would be arriving within an hour, which he did. Chad was personable, and started the job right away.  He cleaned the pipes--to make sure they were clear--but he thought the major problem was the old cap he found lodged inside the pipe; this lodged cap prevented the water from draining properly and so the water backed up from our drain into our laundry room.  Chad said the cap was difficult to get out.  We are very grateful he found it as our laundry room flooding situation has been going on for a long time.  We were very pleased with McDonough?s Services, and would definitely hire them again.

"The impetus for this job was a slow drip from the laundry tub faucet. We decided as long as we were at it we should replace the faucet (we have been unable to turn the water on or off for years due to corrosion) and the laundry tub as well as the clothes washer connections and hoses. All of these were very old and inadequate so a little preventive and deferred maintenance was in order. Our call was answered immediately by a knowledgeable person who explained the pricing policies and made an appointment for a service call that same day. Jon Scheumann showed up a few minutes early after calling to confirm his arrival. He explained options and provided an estimate and completed the work that afternoon. The plumbing work and fixtures are all top quality. Jon nicked the wall in the stairway carrying the new laundry tub down to the basement. He apologized and arranged to have a painter come patch it up at his expense. That work was done the next day and also is top quality. We will not hesitate to call American Eagle Plumbing again the next time we need a plumber."

"Been having problems with garbage disposal and the pipes underneath sink loosened up. Decided that didn't want the disposal anymore. Gave Chris a call and got appointment scheduled. They were prompt and got the work done neatly. Removed the disposal and fixed and replacednecessary piping. Also decided to have them remove two soap dispensers that were not functioning and since then I bought two faucet hole plugs and put those in. Everything is working great. They are really good plumbers."
