A very good experience. They promptly replied to my request for quote and arranged a technician visit. The technician inspected my gas hot water heater and made recommendations as to what to do.

Hunter was very professional. Showed up promptly. Accessed the job and provided detailed quote. Was patient. Clean and efficient workmanship. Would definitely hire again.

BEWARE of THE FINAL BILL, ITS NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT. American Eagle did a good quality job. However they were at our place for 4 hours with an experienced plumber and another person (journeyman, plumber, helper?) and they charged us over $3,600!!!! You read that correctly - a morning of work (parts were less than $250) and they charged over $3,600. I complained to the owner/manager and he said "yup it was more than I expected too" - but they did not adjust any prices. So be very very careful and get a written Total price before you start!!!!

Fantastic. Jon arrived when promised. Diagnosed the problem. Gave a clear estimate of what needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. Did the work quickly and well. Could not have gone any better.

Jon was tremendous. Absolute lifesaver post Austin snow storm when I had broken pipes. Everyone should use this company.

I noticed water damage on the ceiling in master closet above which was the upstairs bathroom. When I called the phone was immediately answered and the rep arranged for a same day visit. 20 mins before arriving I got a text from Jon that they were on their way. They had masks and put on booties. Jon explained the basic charge for diagnostics (which would involve cutting out some portion of drywall on closet ceiling to inspect the pipes behind). The actual cost of repair would depend on what they found. I agreed to the diagnostic which was 256/-. Jon and his partner put up plastic sheets to protect other areas of the closet and I emptied the section they needed access to. They proceeded with the cut and upon inspection saw the (overflow?) drain assembly was leaking. He offered 2 options, a band-aid by replacing a gasket and reseal, which would be 171/- but no warranty on the repair, or replace with new tubular waste and overflow which would be 438/- with a 2 yr warranty. I would have to pay for repairing the cut drywall separately (for which they could refer me to their partner or I could choose anyone else). I opted to go for full replacement. They proceeded and completed the work in about 2 hours. All work was done from that hole cutout in the ceiling. They tested for leaks from running the bath upstairs. Jon taped some plastic across the hole when they were done. After removing the other protective sheeting, he took a swiffer wetjet and cleaned the path from wooden floor in the closet, master bath, master bedroom all the way to the front door. Overall I am very happy with the work and I would call them again for new plumbing issues. They applied an Angieslist coupon for 25/- off my service. wetjet

Friendly and nice. John and crew came over right away and fixed an urgent burst kitchen drain pipe. They tackled a messy job quickly and courteously.

Very positive experience with this company. Jon quickly responded, came out the same day and presented several options. We determined the best plan of action and I couldn't be more happy!

So happy we reached out to Jon with American Eagle Plumbing. We had a leak in our bathroom in the midst of all this coronavirus madness. To help customers through this tough time, they waived the fee to come out and visit and see what the problem was. They were so communicative and sent out a photo of who was going to be coming and who to look out for. They do background checks on all of their employees and as a mother and teacher, that’s a HUGE plus in my book. Jon came in with shoe guards, gloves, and antibacterial wipes. He was respectful in keeping his distance and during these uncertain times, that was greatly appreciated. The problems were fixed and he even gave us some preventive tips to consider for the future as we have a 25+ year old home. I highly recommend American Eagle Plumbing. They check in and genuinely care.

I had used Jon in the past for an outdoor shutoff valve a few years ago, and he was outstanding, down-to-earth and fair in price. Those days are clearly gone. The visit began with rolling out a (literal) red carpet at my front door (I knew I was in trouble at that point). The plumber did a complete inspection of all my plumbing in the house (I did not request this), in order to make additional suggestions for improvements and wrote up a very detailed bid of the job and future options. The prices for the leaky shower faucet were SKY HIGH! I brought this company in as a second opinion and had a bid from a competitor (equally good service, equally qualified plumbers ) , so I had an idea what market rate was. They were fully TRIPLE the cost! I had to basically negotiate to get the price down and asked them to leave my home 2 times during the visit. I finally got them down to about $200 more than what the competitor bid and agreed to the price, just get the job done after so much song and dance and sales mumbo-jumbo, laminated flip charts, etc. etc. I will say, the plumber did outstanding work and was very nice and professional, but I would rather just have a plain, no-glitz plumber like the old days. The plumber Nick is clean, polite and courteous. He is very thorough in his inspection of the home plumbing. After inspection, he gave us sound advice about his concerns on the old plumbing in this 1955 year old house. We are confident Nick fixed our current plumbing problems. American Eagle seems to have set high communication standards and well thought out business operation to make things more easier for their customers. It was a pleasant experience.

They did a great job. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They were not inexpensive but I would use them again with no hesitation.

Initial contact was very professional, appointment reminder text the day before the service. The appointment was for 11am and they called at 8am to say they had a cancellation and could they come earlier. The contact throughout the entire work process was constant and professional. Job was completed that morning. Great service, the customer contact with clear information on what was happening was exceptional. I really appreciated knowing what was going on at all times.

Jon found the problem right away, explained how it happened, repaired the pipe and replaced the outside faucet. I had him replace a second outside faucet as well. He noted a small leak on the water heater, and after we discussed the age of the water heater, I had him replace the hot water heater and an older valve on the water meter. He completed everything in a shorter time than I expected. Before he left, showed me the controls on the new water heater and how to re-light the pilot if it ever went out. Jon was friendly, professional, and explained exactly what was needed. After he replaced the damaged pipes, the area where the pipes were was simplified, neater, and easier to access than it had been before. Although I did not plan on having all this work done now, I was confident in his assessment (he had done a previous big plumbing job for me) and I am sure this preventive maintenance headed off a future problem.

Jon did an excellent job of checking our water pressure and diagnosing why we had a drippy bathroom faucet (that was 3 years old). He was so professional and explained everything! He gave me an upfront quote for three different scenarios, the simplest of which was to replace the faucet cartridges. However, the cost was, in my opinion, extremely excessive. $506 to replace the cartridges. Fixed the problem, but felt the price was way too much! Of course, I could have denied the service, but after a $99.00 service fee, I felt I had to accept the service. Lesson learned.

Great! Called Thursday night and Jon came out right on time the next day. Very friendly and walked me through all the needed repairs and options. Third time working with him and the company. Will continue to hire.
