"They never showed up after agreeing to complete the work on 12/2. After leaving texts, voicemail and email on 12/2 (after having to cancel dr appt), I assumed they would prioritize my property on 12/3. Not so. Again left text, voicemail, email and talked to a representative on their 877-# number who said they would get the job done. He also gave me a direct number to call to help me talk to their scheduling coordinator. I left another voicemail at that number. AGAIN, no snowplowing OR response to my message. I called today and left another voicemail (not as polite as previous voicemails, due to frustration) still no response. No one is answering calls, even though the snow and plowing window of 24 hrs has passed. I am not sure if Angi can do anything to resolve this as I've tried everything I can think of. Would definitely caution anyone to beware."

When you don’t aerate your lawn, the soil will become more compact over time. This limits how much water can soak in to reach the roots of your grass, and it keeps oxygen and carbon dioxide from the plant roots. Reseeding refers to the process of filling in bare or dying patches of lawn—or in some cases, full lawns—whereas reseeding supports existing lawns to prevent thinning. Overseeding is an ideal annual lawn care practice for grass fighting drought, disease, weeds, or pest issues.

Lawn aeration costs between $75 and $350 on average, depending on the size of the lawn, aeration type, slope of the lawn, soil type, lawn prep, and location. Keep in mind that it costs an average of $0.10 to $0.35 per square foot to aerate a lawn that’s less than 1,000 square feet. Different types of lawn aeration include:

  • Liquid aeration: $75

There are several ways to decompose yard waste quickly. The first step is to move all debris into a compost bin or pile. From there, microorganisms, bacteria, and insects will break down the yard waste into compost. To speed things up, shred the waste into smaller pieces, add live worms to the pile, or introduce nitrogen-rich compost accelerators like grass clippings, coffee grounds, and manure. Turn the compost over every few days. This process, called aerating, allows oxygen to get in and accelerate decomposition.
