TruGreen Lawn Care - 5635

Terrible. Paid in advance. They cashed the check, haven't shown up yet and I have weeds everywhere. Hired them after having surgery that prevents me from lifting and fertilizing. In past always did it on my own. Looked for help, but got screwed! Read the reviews on Google, Better business bureau, and elsewhere. I did not do this but wish I had. My advice is hire a local, non franchise lawn company. Steer clear of True Green!

This company came out and fertilized my yard in the Spring also using weed killer. Within days the lawn died where they had dumped extra weed killer. After multiple phone calls and a couple of visits for inspection they admitted they were in the wrong. The company still decided to charge me for the services where they burnt my lawn even after admitting they were wrong and saying they would do a free aeration and seading to fix the damage

This was a seasonal cost for 6 or 7 applications. They over dumped in an area in the backyard and the grass died. I spoke to the technician about it and he indicated that he would tell the company so I thought that was taken care of and it wasn't. I never heard back. When they called this year to ask if I was going to sign up, I said no.  I only heard from them when they wanted to up sell me something.

The cost is each time they come out. When they come out they just work on the lawn for me.

One worker usually comes out to perform the service. They leave a description of what they put down for treatments and when to water it and stuff like that.

I really like the actual service that TruGreen provides but if you ever have to get something accomplished through their customer service center it's nearly impossible. I renegotiated my rate as I learned I was paying more than others with a lawn the same size (or larger) than mine. For two years in a row, I have had to call multiple times to get a revised contract. It takes so long and so many attempts to get them to send a corrected contract that I have had to delay the spring per-emergent being placed on my lawn. I hate to leave TruGreen as their product is good but if their back-office team can not deliver on a simple task, I was forced to leave them. Lastly, when I asked the 3rd customer service agent I talked to if I can talk to a Supervisor she told me she could not do that. What kind of a company does not allow you to talk to a Supervisor when there is an issue. Unfortunate.

$46 a month. Need to work on customer care communications.

I won't use them again for pest control. I didn't notice any difference at all, from the treatments. They have a guarantee. So they came out several times. It didn't work for me. The service did not resolve the issue.

I have not used Trugreen in over two years. I received a phone call on 2/8/2016 from a representative who at first called me the wrong name and started out the conversation with "Hi we are just calling to let you know we have you on our schedule for this spring we look forward to seeing you". I actually was planning on using them again but with this shady phone tactic i will not be using Trugreen again.
I hope people especially the elderly dont fall for this scam of a phone tactic.

This is the fourth application of the season.  My yard looks wonderful.  The cost for the entire year was $207.28.  They treated my lawn with fertilizer and treated for broadleaf weeds, annual grasses, etc.  I've been using them for a number of years.

Trugreen kept jacking up their prices.

We have been with Trugreen for around a year now. We initially contacted them because we have a creeping charlie issue, due to our neighbors disregard for lawn care or  love of creeping charlie, I have yet to figure it out! 
Either way the problem persists! I have contacted them several times about it and they are always very friendly and do indeed stand by their word and have always had a technician out within two days to respray. The problem is they respray, it withers slightly and just comes back within a couple days. I can say it has helped with the parts of the lawn not affected by creeping charlie and has slowed the spread of it down. 
As far as their customer service goes.....like I said they are always friendly and prompt. About the only downside is I feel like they are always trying to upsell me something. I have been called frequently from them about everything from pest control to aeration and overseeding. 
I will continue to use the service for now to keep it at bay but I will be shopping some other companies if things don't turn around by next spring!

Went great.  They always do a great job and our lawn looks like great.  We purchased a house where the lawn was not taken care of.  In the spring we had tons of dandelions.  Our yard was yellow.  By July 1st the weeds were gone and we had one of the better looking yards on the street.
The only issue we have had is pricing.  It seems to vary quite a bit, so make sure you negotiate with them on the price, otherwise you will end up paying to much.
