I had been the operations manager of House Doctors since it's inception in late 2002. I ran all of the day to day operations, estimated, scheduled, and managed all projects. When I started Platinum, I hired three of my previous co-workers and we never missed a beat! I have a degree in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Strategies from Iowa State University. This business degree paired with my experience and passion for residential remodeling made this venture a perfect fit. I am the third generation of Shonkwilers to own a construction company. I grew up in the remodeling and construction industry working for my father's company, Shonkwiler Brothers Construction. My father got started working with my grandfather and his company, Shonkwiler Construction. As of September 2007 my father has joined my team.
