"I am beyond happy with the job these folks did. They cleaned my air ducts, the blower motor on our furnace, the outside A/C condenser, the dryer vent and the bottom of the dryer. It's like Christmas around here, no kidding. We've had a ton of dust blowing around outside the house due to some construction across the street, and now it's not circulating inside the house. Great experience! I will definitely hire them again."

"Called right away and shifted things around to come out and fix our water heater vent for us. They came out immediately and saw what the problem was within 5 minutes of being here and had it fixed very quickly. Very reasonable pricing and very fast service! Highly recommend!"

"A little late for the initial appointment and had a poor assistant.  I got the impression she had just started her business and was overwhelmed by the response she got to the big deal she offered on Angie's List.  She did not have the proper equipment to clean blinds and used a short cut method that required her to clean them again on the next visit.  Michele made up for the poor assistant by not counting the time the assistant spent in the house against the contract total.  She was far more prepared and professional the remainder of the visits to finish the contract.  She seems to be a very good person that is working hard to do the best possible cleaning job and be as professional as possible.  All in all, I was pleased with the job and I would expect her to continue to get better and more professional in the future.  As a result I would use her again if I have the need.

"Chuck did a great job. He is very knowledgeable! He did find some other things that needed attention with the gas and ventilation of my dryer and a pipe on the hot water heater."

Here at, MN Air Duct Cleaning Corporation, we pride ourselves on the highest levels of professionalism and efficiency. Each spring and fall, you should take time to make sure that all of your vents are ready for the vigor of the coming season. We live in a world where healthy living has become a way of life. We diet and exercise to make ourselves feel better. We have also taken on environmental issues to make our world a cleaner and safer place to live. Yet, the most overlooked issue is the air that we breathe. The Environmental Protection Agency claims that indoor air has been found to be more polluted than outdoor air. Now consider on average that people spend 90% of their time indoors; the fact can be quite alarming. Considering that we spend so much time indoors, it makes perfect sense to clean the source of our indoor air quality problems, which are our air ducts. Call today and let us get them ready.

Dryer Vent Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Absolutely! Cleaning the interior of your dryer is crucial to maintain its efficiency and safety. As time goes by, lint, debris, and residues from dryer sheets tend to build up inside the drum, on the lint trap, and around the heating elements. Regular cleaning of the inside of the dryer prevents these particles from blocking the system, ensuring smooth airflow, and reducing the risk of fire hazards.

If you're dealing with an odor in your dryer that transfers onto your clothes and linens, here's what you can do: start by cleaning the lint trap and drum with warm soapy water. Then wipe down the interior using a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar to eliminate any lingering odors.

To get rid of odors you can try this method: take a cloth soaked in vinegar and put it inside the dryer. Run the dryer on a heat setting for 15 minutes. Afterward, make sure to dry the drum by running it with some towels. This technique helps eliminate any smells and leaves your dryer smelling nice and fresh.

If the odors remain, you may need to sanitize your dryer or call in a professional house cleaner to handle the job.

Yes, you can snake a roof vent. This is one of the best ways to clear a problematic clog in a plumbing vent. You can either snake the vent by climbing on the roof and sending the plumber’s snake or auger directly down the vent opening, or you can cut a hole in the vent from inside the attic and snake it from there.

Dryers pull in air from a circular opening in the back of the dryer. The dryer's heating element heats the air, and a blower fan circulates the hot air through the drum. The hot air travels outside the dryer through a vent or is cooled by a heat exchanger that condenses the steam into water and sends it down a drainpipe or to a containment compartment.

Professionals use specialized tools to clean dryer vents effectively. These tools typically include a combination of flexible rods and brushes designed to navigate the vent's twists and turns. The brushes dislodge and loosen lint and debris, while the rods help extend the reach through the vent. High-powered vacuums with HEPA filters are also used to capture and remove the dislodged lint and particles, ensuring a thorough cleaning. In some cases, professionals may employ video inspection cameras to assess the condition of the vent and confirm that it's entirely clean.
