When men and women come out of prison two of their biggest challenges are finding employment and establishing a stable social environment. Three of us formed and operate WFOM; 2 retired guys, with more than 30 years of volunteer service mentoring men in prison and ex-offenders on the outside, and an ex-offender who has been a productive member of society since 2005. Our plan is to have 20-30 ex-offenders (both full time and part time) on staff by the end of 2016. WFOM will employ people for 24-36 months, and then help them find a career path of their choosing. WFOM is a revolving door employer providing our employees with a mentoring program to help them become good citizens, an employment track record with skills and recommendations assure their next employer of the type of person they are hiring. WFOM is a zero tolerance employer that requires commitment and action. We expect the best in order to achieve the best.
