Got several calls in the following days regarding progress of vehicle. They were missing a part that was not available for a week or more, but gave me the option of waiting or picking up my car and returning when the part was in. I chose the latter and we set a specific date and time and they added the last past promptly. The detailing they do to the car for any repair is outstanding. We had heard good things about this car dealership from a friend who had bought a car there. My husband test drove two cars at this dealership. The first one didn't drive well, we opted not to pursue that one. The second one, however, we brought to our trusted mechanic, as we wanted to buy it. Our mechanic pointed out that the frame of the car was bent and also that the frame was rusted completely through. For the price we were looking at, we didn't expect a new car, of course, but our mechanic (who has been caring for our cars for 13 years) said that it would be a thousand dollars in repairs to make the car safe. While returning the car to the dealership, the salesman was told why we weren't buying it. He put it up on the rack to look at the car, and said "oh, it's not rusted ALL the way through yet" (it was, our mechanic showed my husband) and then said that this was a good car. We offered to buy the car (minus the $1000.00 repair bill) and he said no, it's a great car, he's going to raise the price instead. He then tried to give us "one more chance" to buy the car at the "bargain" price before he "raised" it. We'll never go back. I am writing this for someone who had work done by them and I went to clean up their mess. They took a number of trees down and just them lay on neighbors yard, they left big ruts in the yard that hey did not repair! They damaged the roof on a shed they said they would repair but never...

I normally don't leave reviews but I felt this time I must. I can't say enough good things about Son & Pop's Landscape. They are a small family-oriented company that truly cares about their customers. From the moment I reached out they were kind and understanding even going...
The person who showed up explained the owner of the business (Jeremy) who was supposed to show up had a bigger job. The person who came arrived 1 hour late, in a small car, and the only tool he had was a screw driver. He said he was learning and didn’t know anything about April Air. He...
The entire process was very professional. They recieved the parts in a timely manor and scheduled the repairs right away. They were very flexible with my schedule. While doing the repairs they were very conscious of cleanliness. The repair man was very knowledgeable and informative.

FAQs for lawn tool repair projects in Ranier, MN
Lawn mower repairs typically range from $40 to $90, with most people spending right around $60. However, your final total will depend on the type of lawn mower you have, the repair needed, and part availability.
Lawnmowers require seasonal maintenance to continue working correctly. With routine maintenance, you can extend its life to the fullest, which is around 10 years for push mowers and 5-8 years for riding mowers. To keep your lawn mower working correctly, you’ll want to take the following steps at least once a year:
Replace the spark plug
Change the oil
Drain the fuel tank
Clean the mowing deck (ideally, after every mow)
Replace the air filter
Check the carburetor
Sharpen the blades
Fog the engine
Check the tires
Before your lawn mower quits working entirely, it’ll likely give you some signs of wear and tear that indicate a repair is needed. Signs that you might need repairs to your lawn mower include:
Oil leaks
Vibrating engine
Smoking exhaust
Increase in time to mow
Unusual noises
Increase in gas consumption
If you are a skilled DIYer with experience, you can do certain lawn mower repairs yourself. However, if you’ve never worked on a lawn mower before or if your mower needs extensive repairs, it’s best to let a skilled lawn mower technician work on your machine. While it might be a little more expensive due to the cost of labor, nothing beats knowing that the job was done successfully (and often with warranties).
In many cases, it might be cheaper to repair your lawn mower than to replace it, depending on what needs to be repaired. The cost to replace a lawn mower dramatically varies, from $60 for basic models to over $15,000 for the top-of-the line models.
Small repairs like a spark plug replacement can be as little as $20, so replacing the whole lawn mower wouldn’t make much sense. However, repairing a crankshaft could be much more expensive at $500 to $900, so depending on the age of your mower, it might be best to replace it. It’s best to speak with your lawn mower repair technician to determine which option is best for you.
