Left a couple of message with contractors, and Monarch was the only one who returned our call. Hunter came on a Sunday morning to look at the deck, explained their process and emailed us an estimate. He had told us they were booked until September so when September was half over I called to check in. He said we were on the schedule for the next week or so. We were actually out of town when they came, and the deck was done when we returned.
It looks nice except for a number of spots that are still shiny and a bit tacky to the touch. Not sure if they'll fade as the stain continues to weather. So it isn't perfect, but we're generally pretty satisfied, and the price was very fair.
