"I contacted Mattson Macdonald Young (MMY) after receiving an email from our local city building inspector who wanted to ensure that a proposed greenhouse was in compliance with the 2020 Minnesota Residential Code. MMY Engineer Ken Green was extremely helpful in this matter and suggested that I contact the greenhouse kit manufacturer to obtain the needed information for the city. He also provided me with the applicable design loads for snow and wind so that the resulting greenhouse structure would be building code compliant. The greenhouse kit manufacturer upgraded its structural components to meet code. While I ended up not requiring MMY’s engineering design services, based on my interactions with Ken, the quality of the information that he provided to me and his prompt responses, MMY would be the first company that I’d call should I need these services in the future. I was truly impressed."
