"Response was quick, price was good. Help was excellent, not a single curse word all day, very professional. Clean up could not have been better. Plantings were covered to prevent damage. I had worked construction for 50 years prior to this  and every thing was done correctly without my having to say a word. My previous experience with several other roofers in Aitkin County was horrible.

Siding questions, answered by experts

For the materials alone, a square of siding costs an average of $600, but prices can range from $100 to $3,000, depending on the material. Vinyl siding costs toward the lower end of that range, while real brick or stone siding costs closer to the higher end. Keep in mind that many boxes of siding contain two squares, enough to cover 200 square feet, so you may need to double your cost if you only need one square.

Brick and stone are durable, low-maintenance materials that offer excellent insulation, aesthetic appeal, and can increase property value.

Yes, vertical and horizontal siding both come in the same materials, including wood, vinyl, aluminum, and engineered wood. The material you choose can significantly affect your siding’s overall price, lifespan, insulation properties, and maintenance costs.

While bleach can be effective in killing mold, it may not fully remove mold stains from siding. Additionally, bleach can be harsh and may damage certain types of siding. It's recommended to use specialized mold cleaners or natural alternatives that are safe for your specific siding material as a part of your regular siding maintenance

Insulated vinyl siding is very durable and can last for 20 to 40 years. The extra support that the insulation provides helps to make the vinyl siding less susceptible to damages from weather and other minor wear and tear. Vinyl siding on its own may  be less durable than other types of siding like fiber cement, but when coupled with insulation it is stronger than usual.
