"I was agonizing over the need to replace my carpeting given the stains it had. My best friend said, "NO, get your carpet cleaned. It will be like new." I am astonished, but Superior Carpet Cleaning removed ALL stains and my 23 year old carpeting IS LIKE NEW! Tom's service is outstanding. You will never regret hiring him!"

"They arrived right on time for our estimate appointment.  They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to work with my schedule.  They had great follow up for planning and honored their commitments to install my carpet in the timeframe I needed it.  The carpet feels great and the job looks great.  They are very attentive and trustworthy to do business with."

"Once they have your money and have you sign a form you won't cancel you can't get ahold of them by phone or get them to call you back. They say granite will take one month. When I asked how thin their granite was and wanted it to be the thicker standard used by other companies they said it would have to be ordered. It took 3 months. I kept calling and got no response. I thought I had been scammed because they cashed the check the same day I wrote it. Poor quality granite was used in bathroom. Poorly cut granite by microwave. Carpet scraps were not hauled away."

"We bought a house which we knew had previously had a mold problem, but it turned out to still have mold in interior basement walls. After doing some online research, JYMRSA seemed to be the best choice. They were also recommended to me by an attorney that specializes in mold-related lawsuits. The whole experience was great. Andy gave us a firm estimate and stuck to it. He discussed mold in detail with us and answered all our questions. His crew arrived on schedule and worked quickly and professionally. When we later discovered more mold in an upstairs bathroom, he sent his crew back in a jiffy to take care of it. Having heard so much about mold-related illnesses in the news, we were very worried, but Andy was able to give us the facts and put the problem into perspective for us. He explained in detail how mold grows and spreads, how they could remove the mold, and kill off and remove nearly all spores. Andy performed air quailty tests at the end of the job to ensure the problem was taken care of and sent us the lab reports. We have been living in the house for over a month now, and we have not found any more mold and we haven't noticed any health effects. I did some research into mold remediation companies before choosing JYMRSA. This interesting tidbit stands out: JYMRSA uses a fungicide that was originally developed by the Dept of Defense to combat biological warfare. When the formula was declassified, JYMRSA picked up on it and developed a product for commercial/residential use. They can fog a house with it or apply it in a penetrating foam. As far as I can tell (based on my online research) no one else has anything like it. In summary, JYMRSA is professional, easy and flexible to work with, fairly priced, and well-equipped to deal with even the most serious mold problem. I recommend them highly."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

If you have a concrete subfloor, you must secure the carpet padding with adhesive or glue. However, if you have a wooden subfloor, use staples instead. Removing a glued-down carpet can be difficult and time-consuming, so it’s best to avoid glue when possible.

Professional installation ensures seamless fitting, extended carpet life, and compliance with workplace standards.

Several types of flooring can be installed over existing tile, provided the current tiles are in good condition. Options include vinyl, vinyl plank, laminate, engineered wood, hardwood, carpet, and cork. Among these, various types of vinyl and engineered wood are the most common choices due to their versatility. Alternatively, you can install new tiles on top of your current ones if you like tile floors but want to update the look. Before proceeding with any new flooring, it's crucial to ensure your existing tiles are not damaged; otherwise, they will need to be removed first.

Carpet glue is very sticky, but it's not permanent. The glue usually lasts as long as a typical carpet installation, which is five to 15 years. For the best results, you should always use the right type of carpet glue for the area you're using it in. There are carpet glues for high-traffic areas, which are more high-quality and durable than others.

In most cases, you do not need to put padding or underlayment under carpet tiles. Unlike traditional carpet, which requires a separate pad, carpet tiles are designed to be installed directly onto a firm subfloor like plywood, concrete, or tile. Many carpet tiles come with a built-in underlay and attach with peel-and-stick adhesive, double-sided carpet tape, or glue. For a more comfortable, cushioned feel, especially in residential settings, you can opt for padded carpet tiles that have a thicker underlay attached. While it's generally not recommended to install a separate pad, a compact underlayment might be used in some situations, though this typically requires professional installation. An acoustic underlay may also be considered in commercial spaces or multi-level homes where noise reduction is a priority.
