Family owned business with over 7 years experience - Tree Service - Lot Clearing - trimming- debris removal- Stump Grinding we can do about anything you can think of just ask and be satisfied I do all things through christ God bless

"They were terrible from the first day. They left limbs and branches all over the back yard. The next time they came they left ruts and big digits in the yard. The third time they came was to grind stumps. They did not clean up the chips nor the little stumps they had to cut down. Thy also damaged some shingles on my shed, said they would repair it and never did. Then they asked for more money. Now I have to have someone finished picking up the limbs and branches they left laying behind my shed. I would never recommend them to anyone."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Trimming a tree can take between two hours to a full day to accomplish. The time this project takes depends on the age and species of the tree as well as the number of trees that need to be trimmed. The tree's age is a significant time factor, as older trees tend to have branches that are larger in diameter as opposed to younger trees.

Although many tree roots will continue to grow after the tree has been cut, there are a handful of exceptions to this rule. While species like elms, ficus, and willows have roots that will regrow with a vengeance, pine, oak, and maple roots will die when they’re cut down. If you’re not sure what kind of tree roots you’re dealing with, there’s a simple way to find out. New sprouts on old trunks, stumps, or exposed roots are a sign that the root system is still hard at work.

Yes, pruning makes trees stronger because it fosters proper growth, weight distribution, and balance of the crown. By increasing the structural integrity of the tree through pruning, it’s less likely to experience disease, pests, broken limbs, and storm damage. Pruning the right branches and limbs is key to improving a tree’s strength and balance.

Trees provide many benefits, including shade, habitat for local wildlife, and cleaner air, so it’s always a good idea to try an alternative strategy like crown reduction before you chop one down. But sometimes, cutting down a tree is the only option (like if it’s severely diseased). A licensed arborist can assess the tree and recommend the best course of action.

If major support roots are cut, the tree may become unstable. Many are located just below the soil’s surface. Even cutting roots that are less than one-half inch under or outside the edge of a tree’s canopy can cut off its water, causing it to decline, die, and eventually topple.
