"I needed an urgent house cleaning and they were quick to book. I requested a quote on Thursday afternoon and had a clean house by Sunday mid-day!! I was even able to get the garage pressure washed! They did a great job cleaning all the baseboards, windows, appliances, fixtures, etc. Very happy with the service!"

"WOW is our house clean. The Green Team just left. Last week we had them over to clean our carpets and they did a great job. We had them look at our heat vents and cold air returns and they had 32 years of debris so we scheduled them to come back and clean them too. Construction dust from building and remodeling including a few nails, some Lego's lots of sand and dirt. I think we should have had this done a little sooner. They were on time for both visits, very friendly and professional. Showed us the before and after of the air vents as well as how filthy the furnace filter was. We had bought a new filter and they installed it for us. We had 25 vents and it cost us $275. The carpet cleaning was $175 and it was 5 rooms, a hallway, stairs, a 9 'x 12' area rug and a 3' x 5' entry way rug."

"Team was fantastic - exceeded my expectations! They were very communicative and prompt. They came to provide an estimate for the work (cleaning 2 full baths, kitchen, and powder room) and gave options for more services (cleaning the blinds and baseboards and doors). We took them up on the bigger clean and WOW my house is shining! So happy we were able to use them. Highly recommend - wish I had used them sooner!"

House Cleaning questions, answered by experts

According to the National Library of Medicine, ethyl alcohol is the best disinfectant for killing the flu virus, while bleach effectively kills bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Other efficient disinfectants include diluted bleach solutions, rubbing alcohol, and hydrogen peroxide. Consult a local cleaning pro before applying these chemicals as disinfectants.

If you’re seeing many cobwebs inside your home, chances are you have a spider problem. Cobwebs are either abandoned spiderwebs or webs made by a member of the house spider species, but if you clean them with vacuuming or dusting, for example, and they reappear, then it points to an issue with spiders. Try using a natural DIY spider repellent or calling in a pest control service to help keep spiders out of your home.

Use of harnesses and ladders ensures safe roof access.

Although you can use bleach to clean many surfaces in your home, using it on walls can permanently damage the color or even remove paint and expose the paint or bare walls underneath. You’re better off using a light hand, some water, and a small amount of liquid dish soap or vinegar to clean walls with flat paint. If you have mold growth on your walls with flat paint, then a professional cleaner may use bleach, but you’ll almost certainly have to repaint your walls afterward.

Focus on cleaning the air after you’ve finished cleaning surfaces. Use air purifiers, moving them as necessary from room to room. The air filters should be cleaned or replaced, depending on the type of filters you have. Clean the air ducts by yourself or by hiring a pro. Finally, open doors and windows to ensure the space is properly ventilated.
