"Great! Caleb cleaned the stove, took the stove pipe apart and took it outside to clean it. He replaced a cracked brick in the stove. He discovered the stove pipe cap was missing. He inspected the flue and the outside assembly. He took before and after pictures of everything. He showed me his findings through every step of the process. Within an hour after he left he sent me an estimate for the replacement cost of the stove pipe cap. He was thorough, professional, friendly, and fast. I was so impressed!"

"Our chimney needed repair after some shoddy work had been performed by a previous company. Guardian Chimney provided a detailed estimate with pictures for each step of the repair. Joseph was available to answer all questions which made us more comfortable that the job would be done correctly. The crew arrived on time, were courteous and professional. We were extremely pleased with the work and would highly recommend Guardian Chimney Solutions."

"All the workers that came to our house were efficient, helpful and reasonably on time.  But the company office appeared to be poorly organized to respond if something out of the ordinary occurred.  The inspecting and cleaning of chimneys was done quickly and cleanly.  The installation of the wood burning insert was scheduled in 2 steps.  First the unit would be installed, then a week later another person would perform first start-up and explain how to use and maintain it.  When the installers arrived they discovered the box had been opened and several parts were missing.  They called store right away and left a message.  They did as much as they could without getting a call back from the store, so they left the job incomplete.  A day passed and we heard nothing from the store.  I called the salesman I had worked with and left a message.  No call back.  My wife called and by interrogating the receptionist learned they were working on the problem, were trying to order the missing parts.  I called again and caught the salesman at his desk.  He claimed to not know the current state of the problem.  "It's in the hands of the parts department."  Unhappy, my wife tried again demanding contact with someone superior to the salesman. She was given the number for Ken and I called him.  Now I learned they were going to take parts from a demo unit and install them on the start up date to meet the schedule commitment.  On the start up date the installer called to tell us he was delayed 2 hours at another site.  While waiting for him the city inspector showed up when the store had scheduled his visit.  We explained the installation had not been completed, he glanced at it quickly, and left saying something about rescheduling.  When the installer arrived he finished the installation and did a good job of teaching us about the unit.  He called the store and left a message about the city inspector.  The store did not call us back.  I placed calls to both the store inspection department and the city inspector.  Neither of them returned my call so we can only assume that an understanding was reached between the store and the city and we are legal.
The unit appears to be well designed and performing as intended.

"Three hours labor $4500 pull out, put in virtually the same machine, and crisscrossed pcv valves. - waiting to see the cc bill, supposed to get the $44 'tune up' fee dropped, if I purchased a new furnace (forgot to ASK for it during sales pitch), figured Brandon would confirm with Blake, the sales guy. Furnace works fine. Super organized system."

"Demolition as straightforward and quick. After that, Mike Otto coordinated all the service people to lay in the extensive electrical, plumbing, surfaces, fixtures, cabinetry and counters. I was working away during most of the weeks he and his tradespeople were building this space and each weekend I came home it was more and more realized."

Grill Assembly questions, answered by experts

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

Examples include gas stoves, ovens, and water heaters. Confirm with your provider for specific items.

Appliances typically connected to a gas line include gas stoves, water heaters, furnaces, and gas fireplaces. Essentially, any appliance in your home that uses gas needs to be connected to a gas line, which connects your home with the main gas line owned and operated by your gas company.

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.
