"Our project was actually a crawlspace encapsulation. We have a lake cabin that was built in the 1960's. It had a dirt floor in the crawlspace with bare block masonry foundation walls. It also had old, damp batt insulation that was falling down from the joist spaces. American Waterworks came in, removed the old insulation (a nasty job!), laid down a 2 layer moisture barrier system and spray foamed the foundation walls and rim joist area. I can't believe what a difference this has made to our air quality, much warmer floors. We used to have to wipe down the windows every morning during the winter because of condensation. Not any more! "My computer (Windows XP) was running very slow and had become almost inoperable. It was taking a very long time to process anything, especially anything to do with the internet. IE was taking 100% of the cpu most of the time. Jim worked on my computer remotely for several days defragging, cleaning, anti-virus, malware, etc., but could not get it to perform anywhere near where it should. We decided that I needed a new computer. Jim built me a new computer (Windows 7 with racing stripes). The new system works very well and I am pleased with it. When Jim switched my files over from old to new, the Kodak Easy-Share program with my pictures did not get transferred. He has promised to make that transfer when he installs a new door covering the DVD reader which was broken upon setup. I will update this review when this occurs. I am very pleased with the new system and would do it all over again if a similar situation were present. "
"Everything that I needed to install this alarm system was shipped to me in a box for me to install. I had some problems installing the window sensors and it took me several phone calls to get the information on how to do that. I am not a person who is good at doing my own handyman work, but this was pretty easy to do myself. There were videos on the website that were helpful and the company is very responsive by phone to provide assistance. I did receive two defective control boxes, but had no problem sending them back and getting a new one sent to me. I like the fact that I can turn the alarm on and off from my cellphone and I was also given a keyfob that I can turn the alarm on and off from outside or inside the home. All in all, I am very happy with this system. "
