"AAA Tree Pros did an excellent job removing 2 diseased ash trees from our property. They offered a fair price, scheduled the work very quickly, and handled everything safely and professionally. The crew removed the trees, hauled away all the wood, and ground the stumps thoroughly. The cleanup was great as well. Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them."

"Can't not say enough good things about this company. Quality work, expeditious service at a very competitive price. Their crew also do a fantastic cleanup job as there was not a branch, twig or leave left on my lawn. If you are looking for tree service save yourself a lot of time and hire Mike."

"Not sure about tree removal but they can remove a cat from a tree!! Carter was awesome getting back to me quickly and offering assistance. Russ was quick to adjust his schedule to help out a scared little kitty. Based on customer service alone I would recommend them."

"SMK Tree Service was quick to response and great to work with. Shane was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He was very professional, did a great job of explaining what he was going to do and broke down what the cost was going to be and why. He answered all questions that I had and was quick to come and do my work. He was very flexible to work with and very respectful about letting me k ow when he was coming to do the work. After the work was complete you could hardly tell that he had been here. They did a fabulous job of cleaning up after themselves."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Costs range from $500 to $5,000 per tree, depending on size, location, and accessibility.

Bleach can potentially kill some types of delicate ornamental trees, but for the most part, it will only kill the foliage it comes in contact with. Applying bleach is not an effective method of killing a tree. A better option is to use an herbicide, which is a chemical compound designed to effectively kill a tree.

If a tree isn’t pruned, it can inhibit proper growth and fruit production, cause damage to both the tree and your property, and create entry points for pests and diseases. Pruning a tree enhances its stability, appearance, shape, and growth. Pruning trees regularly can also save you money long-term by avoiding overgrown or dangerous dying trees.

For trimming trees, your best tool is a pair of pruning shears or loppers. Both options work best for branches that are under 3 inches in diameter. Trimming trees with a larger diameter may require a robust tool like a small chainsaw or a handsaw, so take into account your tree’s diameter when deciding between tools.

It’s possible to transplant trees as tall as 50 feet when an experienced tree planting service uses the right equipment. However, a tree with a trunk larger than two or three inches in diameter needs to be handled by a professional in order to yield successful transplanting results. Consulting a tree planting professional is the best way to tell if your large tree can be safely transplanted.
