The company's prices are competitive. The people in the office and the technicians working on our lawn are polite and knowledgeable. The communication from the company staff is reassuring. The staff send out texts to say when the spraying will take place and give the customer an opportunity to change the date or time. After the spraying, there is follow - up information. "Quote process was on time, Sean was very professional and on time. Install of system was fast. Things changed from quote that I was not advised of though and I felt I should have been advised. For example, I was quoted 8 zones, and 28 sprinkler heads. I got 5 zones and 19 sprinkler heads when all said and done. I bought my own smart sprinkler controller and a separate zone for an upper garden(which we did not do) was quoted. Sean said he would credit me for the controller, and the separate garden zone off the original quote, however, when the bill came the day following installation these items were still included with the balance due, of $3823. I called to dispute the charges and Sean apologized for the oversight on the billing, and corrected that right away. I mentioned the zones and head issue and Sean said that quoting was not highly precise. He said he included an inline sediment filter (not included with original quote) that offset the zones and head issue. I had a couple of problems after installation that NW responded and took care of right away. So from a service perspective they were very good. But I was not happy with quoting process or the final billing because I felt the inline filter did not offset the reduction in zones and sprinkler heads. So overall, I give the process in general 3 stars. 5 for service, and 1 for quoting and billing."

"I hired Clark Companies to replace outdated timber lawn retaining walls with more contemporary block construction. I chose Clark on the basis of the detail estimate provided by Josh Clark and his willingness and ability to answer my numerous questions. I was impressed with the work effort and friendly, customer-oriented attitudes of Adam, Dylan and the rest of the Clark installation crew. They were creative in adjusting the wall designs to best fit the terrain, and to listening and adapting to my ideas. Most importantly, I was very happy with the end results. I felt I received very good value for my money."

"My patio wall was leaning and the blocks were crumbling. The patio pavers were full of moss and weeds. The patio steps had just been redone a year ago by another company but sand had been used as a base and after settling, they were no longer level and developing a tripping hazard. Joe recognized construction errors in both the wall and steps. My backyard had a large area along a fence where soil had washed away and grass wouldn't grow. What I appreciated about Joe was his interest in what my vision was and then offering his creative ideas for what could be done. Joe cut down a full-grown evergreen and a shrub that had become unsightly. He trimmed other trees and removed branches that were brushing against the house. Vitak Landscaping gave me a beautiful patio and backyard! The crew is a pleasure to work with - hardworking, with an eye for detail and quality work. I highly recommend this crew and company!"

"Scheduling was great, an appointment was made immediately and the contractor arrived on the day scheduled. After that problems started. The contractor mowed my lawn while raining and I had piles of wet grass left on my lawn. When the grass dried I had a big mess. The dead grass also killed areas of my lawn. I contacted customer service, forward photos and they rectified that problem by sending someone out to recut my lawn. I was willing to give them another chance. I scheduled an appointment two weeks in advance. The day I was due to have lawn mowed I received an email that it had been reschedule for the next day. The next day no one showed nor did I receive a call nor email at which point I terminated services. This is not a reliable business."
