"I had a great experience working with Daniel. He was very knowledgeable in all window coverings and helped me pick out the type of window covering and he also had a good design sense with the various colors and patterns that are available. He had many samples to look at and actually feel the fabric and material. Danial made the process go smooth and kept me informed every step of the way. His installer Phil was very efficient and they worked great as a team. I am very pleased with all of my window treatments and would highly recommend Daniel."

"SNC you did an amazing job. They were very prompt to respond to my request and discuss the details as well as providing the cost. They're also very flexible concerning the day to come out since it was an outside project and weather was an issue. Sky stating contact with me both before and during the process. They were very friendly--my dogs loved them- and the finished work is excellent. I definitely plan to have them back for other work!"
"I hired these guys to install vinyl siding over the existing wood siding. The house was built in 1889 and from the outside they made it look like a whole new house. They were able to get us on their schedule very quickly and the house looks AMAZING! Once they were complete, they made sure the yard was picked up and no debris was remaining. They were also very careful around the plants...until i finally told them not to worry about it since they were getting dug up anyway. As they were nearly complete, they suggested some aesthetic finishing touches (decorative shutters on the front windows). Next day they were installed and it totally makes the house look even better. We have received many compliments from walker's by. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys."

"They painted the Windows, Storms, Fascia, Trim, wrought iron railings, and even the chimney that needed about 3 fresh coats (and made it look amazing!) all exterior. They also painted a couple rebuilt interior windows. Very nicely done. Daren runs the show and is a good communicator. They did what they said they would do and stuck to the budget discussed. His pricing was reasonable and they were very detail oriented which was a requirement. The job took a little longer than expected due to cold weather, but it was finished as soon as the weather cooperated. Highly Recommend. "
The most popular estate shutter brands include Hunter Douglas, Budget Blinds®, and Graber®. Hunter Douglas shutters cost $20 to $26 per square foot and include high-quality hardwood and faux wood options. Budget Blinds shutters cost $20 to $24 per square foot, depending on if you choose natural wood or another material. Depending on the material, Graber shutters range from $18 to $24 per square foot.
The average shutter is designed to last 20 to 25 years. Proper maintenance for the type of shutters you have is essential for helping them reach their full potential.
Not all windows are suitable for shutters, as certain styles can prevent them from functioning correctly. It's best to avoid installing shutters on bay windows, picture windows, dormer windows, and double-mulled windows. Shutters are better suited for large, full-size standard windows or French doors.
Additionally, consider the room's lighting needs. Since shutters effectively block light, they are an excellent choice for rooms where you want more darkness and privacy, such as a master bedroom or a main living room. For window types that are not ideal for functional shutters, some homeowners choose to install fixed (non-functional) shutters to maintain a consistent look across the home.
Estate shutters offer more energy efficiency, privacy, and light control than blinds. They provide better insulation against heat and cold, lowering your energy bills. They’re also sturdy, durable, and last much longer than blinds (up to 50 years or longer). They’re also low-maintenance and can add curb appeal to your home. The return on investment (ROI) for estate shutters is around 75%.
Wood is the most classic shutter material. Common options include pine, cedar, or brasswood. MDF shutters are also a more affordable option that retains the timeless, classic look. Composite shutters, mainly vinyl and aluminum shutters, have also become more popular over the years. You may also find steel shutters, sometimes referred to as security shutters, used on the exterior. Shutters also come in various colors and finishes, adding another layer of design flexibility.
