"We had a garage built in the backyard. The price was reasonable. The quality of the work was good. The timeline was way to long. We signed the contract July 31st. We just finished this week"
"We could not have done the rebuild with out Stephen help. I soon realized l could trust him to follow up on everything we asked. He was more like a contractor than a handyman. From rebuilding a bath to setting kitchen cabinets I could not ask for a better man."
"Our A/C stopped functioning. They removed dust and debris from the coils in the 'inside' unit. They also cleaned the drainage hose that took condensation out. Unfortunately, they missed an overflow tray which filled up a few days later, overflowing above the ceiling of our living room. It soaked the plaster. We are still getting bids to fix it, but the bids are hovering in the ~$500-$700 range. VanderHyde was apologetic and fixed the problem promptly when notified, but the damage had been done. I think it was an honest oversight. But that oversight doubled the cost of the repair. I would still use them again. "
"We love our kitchen! Quality is excellent and the attention to detail is obvious. We were so grateful when Ralph connected us to a design team to help us with our dream kitchen. But his creative ideas and wonderful problem solving skills kept the project moving. The construction area was cleaned daily and the project was finished on time and on budget. We really enjoyed having him in our home. His can do attitude made us feel confident we chose the right contractor."
"Alfredo did not want to cut the cabinet so he came up with a solution to move up the cabinet. This saved us from having to refinish the bottom of the cabinet and kept the look the same as the rest of the cabinets. He came at a moments notice, came up with a better solution and got the work done in maybe one hour and 15 minutes. We are very happy with the work that was done."
"Excellent design and super sturdy. The inspector was very impressed. John thoroughly listened to what I wanted and suggested a composite instead of wood and am so glad he did. It was initially more expensive but no expense to maintain! Took longer than expected but if you're not in a hurry John will do it right."
"Mario’s capable crew did exactly what they needed to do to make my project a success. They worked hard when needed the most, and left my home ready for the next big steps. I recommend!"
"Bob was hired to install a door where there never was one before. Therefore, he had to make the doorway a bit larger to accommodate the pre-hung solid door. That job took the longest and he also did the locks. Then on to the screen door. It really looks nice and works well for the owners. There has to be some finishing on the interior (molding), but my son is able to do that. The job was messy, for sure. Redwood dust everywhere! Wish I had known, I would have covered everything in the sunroom. Although, I have to hand it to Bob.......he did clean up the wood chunks on the exterior this time! :) I had him last year to install a dishwasher, sink and then replace the disposal after sink was installed. There was some carpentry work to be done so the dishwasher would fit properly. Also, hard wiring for the dishwasher. So far all is still in working order! That cost was $400 total for labor alone. I didn't use a coupon for either of the jobs. "
New constructions, renovations, and interior layouts benefit from expert drafting.
Depending on what the blueprints are for, a qualified draftsperson, contractor, or architect can draw them up. In some cases, including specialty permitting for a build, you may be required to use a licensed architect.
In many cases, a blueprint drawn up by a certified professional is required before a city or municipality approves a permit.
