"We hired Town & Country to install a new garage door. We had a couple of delays because we were waiting for an insurance payment for the repair. This, at times, made the situation more complicated but they were always helpful, professional, and responsive when dealing with us. We primarily dealt with Josh who was quite helpful. We were eager to get the new door and regain the use of our garage and they were accommodating in getting us into the schedule quickly. The actual install of the door was smooth and done correctly the first time. Would definitely recommend and use them again."

"Nick did a great job getting us through our first bathroom remodel. Our space had a lot of issues and surprises and Nick helped to come up with solutions while keeping us in our budget. The new bathroom looks great and we are very happy with the quality of Nick’s work."

"The project went incredibly well.  The focus was a quality, appropriate renovation/addition on a 1930's federal house in Ann Arbor.  An architect was hired to design an appropriate renewal and replacement inside and out.  It was important that the builder could handle the scale and detail.  We couldn't be happier with the results.
In retrospect I am sure that there is no way that we could have renovated to this standard at this cost with any other builder.  Pete was the perfect choice for our project.  I am veryspecific about the level of quality and detail that I expect and Pete meets my requirements every time.  He does it with a cheerful problem solving attitude that is uncommon in the building trades.  Pete, and any of his co-workers, are a pleasure to have around the house.  He is dependable and extremely honest.
I know that Pete bids large jobs and small jobs.  That makes him somewhat unique as a contractor.  I am sure he brings the same level of workmanship to jobs much smaller than ours. I am equally sure he can manage a big project when contracted to do so.  My main take away is that high quality work at fair prices is rare in the construction field.  Pete’s company occupies a hard to find niche."

I started Pro Built in 2017 looking to build my team and support my community and hometown. I grew up on a jobsite and have plenty of contacts for consultation or prior experience in multiple specialties. Interior projects are our main focus at this time (Flooring / Remodeling / Electrical & Plumbing / Servicing the Home) and we are currently booking larger projects two months ahead. Exterior projects we work on a case by case basis when scheduling is available. We guarantee your satisfaction, and we won’t leave until the job is done right. We pride ourselves on the quality work we provide, while delivering great customer service! We do free estimates on any signed agreements and look forward to outlining your dream home.

"I called to set up the service and set the time for 2:00.  I was running late and called the company and asked for 2:30 and they said they would call him.  I got home at 2:15 and there was an estimate in my door.  I called the company and they said I wasn't listed for an appointment.  I said I made it last week with 'Mike' and they said we don't have a 'Mike' here.  I said his name is right here on the estimate.  They said 'oh yes, Mike.  We'll have him call you.  That was odd.
Mike calls and explains I need a new roof, which is true.  Gave me a good estimate (I've had 3 and this amount was in the middle).  He said he got to my house early and made repairs on the roof.

"Even though he didn't work on my house, I would still call him for future projects as it is hard to find someone who is straight forward and honest ; and will help you out with out compensation. A+

Home Building questions, answered by experts

Green homes are often more expensive to build, averaging around $200 per square foot compared to the $150 per square foot you’d spend to build a standard home. However, green homes can save you money on your utility bills by consuming less energy or creating energy using solar panels or wind turbines on-site. They’re more expensive to build, but they often end up costing less in the long run.

Yes, professionals offer mantel and surround customization for aesthetic appeal.

Building a new home can be more expensive than buying an existing one, depending on the housing market in your area. Many homeowners still find that building a new house is worth the investment as they can choose the exact layout they want, as well as to choose their own floors, wall coverings, appliances, and finishes. If you live close enough to the build site, you can also stop by to check on the builder’s progress, which can provide some peace of mind that the project is worth it.

Renovating or remodeling an existing structure is usually less expensive than the cost to build a new house. That’s because you can save on the costs of new building materials, laying a foundation, framing the entire building, and installing new materials and utilities throughout the house. However, if a home is in very poor condition or is incredibly old, you could spend more on upgrades and restoration compared to building from scratch.

Ranch and colonial-style homes are often the most affordable to build. They have a common layout with available designs that are easy to adjust in simple ways without having to spend too much on a structural engineer or architect. Both types of homes' symmetry, simple roofs, and often one or two-story plans mean they often fall in the $150 to $200 square-foot range, putting them right around average.
