"They did an amazing job. We told them what we were thinking. They came up with a beautiful and unique design and landscape plan for our challenging space. "Zeke with keystone did the Ship lap and also designed and built the service counter for my office. He came with all the tools and expertise needed. Weâ ve all seen the guy that claims to be an expert struggle to complete a job with a set of tools bought on sale at Walmart! Then thereâ s Keystone. Pulls in with a clean looking truck and trailer. I had the opportunity to see the inside of their trailer and boy is it incredible! Like all the fasteners and tools needed for my office fully organized and ready for use! All this combined with Zekeâ s communication skills to fine tune my design to be pleasing to look at and still super functional. My experience with keystone every step of the way was incredible. Call them and ask for Zeke."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

A window flower box should be deep enough that there’s room for a wide selection of plants and the required amount of soil and gravel. Standard flower boxes are 8 inches deep and 8 inches from front to back. Larger is better to increase the variety of plants in the box, but you could run into stability issues as it increases in weight.

Many ways to landscape a steep slope on a budget exist. Avoiding expensive retaining wall construction is the first step. Consider creating a rocky slope with boulders or large stones, or think about planting perennials that return every year with a single investment. Transplanting small trees from elsewhere on your property is also possible and can help to stabilize steep slopes without purchasing new ones.

There are several reasons your grass may be dying that could be in or out of your control. The most common issues include poor drainage, under/overwatering, poor soil pH, low soil nutrients, low sunlight, or too much foot traffic.

Yes, backyard landscaping and total-home landscaping add value to your home. According to the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), high-quality landscape design has a 20 to 30 percent return on investment. So, when it comes time to sell your home, having a beautiful backyard landscaping oasis will increase your home’s value.

Hedges can be trimmed in many other shapes than the standard square shape. They can be cut into spiral, cone, and sphere shapes. However, cutting and maintaining these types of shapes is much more challenging. There are metal frames that you can purchase to place around the hedge to make it much easier.
