I could not be more pleased with my home remodel and construction of a new storage shed performed by Bob Thornton. The remodeled area matches perfectly with my existing home. No one would ever know that the remodeled living space was not part of the original home. The new storage shed aligns seamlessly with the architecture of my existing home, including roof pitch, vinyl siding, shingles, windows and door. Bob has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of construction, from foundation to finish-carpentry and all steps in between, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, flooring and drywall. I threw a lot of curve balls at Bob during the construction, and he handled them all in a kind and professional manner. He worked with me throughout the building process to ensure I would be pleased with the final results. The work was performed promptly and within budget. What stands out the most is Bobs attention to detail, quality craftsmanship and use of superior materials. Bob exceeded my expectations and made the entire process fun. I was almost sad when the work was completed, as it was such a pleasure working with Bob and his crew. I would not think of hiring anyone else for any future projects. I highly recommend Bob Thorton for any job, big or small.

I contacted Home Advisor on a Saturday morning and by Saturday afternoon, bob was at my house to give a quote. He had an available tile installer and started and finished the job promptly. We are very happy with the results and will use Bob for future projects.

We are not even done yet but I am going to leave this before I forget. Bob has been great and I am VERY impressed. He responded to HomeAdvisor the same day. He was at our house the same night to do the quote. We had a full basement remodel with ADDING a full bath and new bedroom in 2 days. He and his crew showed up 3 weeks later to start. In my area of the country that is like showing up yesterday. Every single work day and most Saturdays someone from his crews has been there advancing this project. We now have paint going on the new drywall and it has been a tad under a month from demolition. This thing will be done from quote to completed in under two months which is LIGHTNING fast for this area. Hell, I have a deposit into a landscaper from last August who still has not shown up and it is Mid Feb. Bob is a very down to earth guy and works hard. He is a good communicator and a pleasure to work with. I will for sure be bugging him again for our master bathroom and kids bathroom quotes. I would HIGHLY recommend Bob and his team.

Bob is everything you’d want in a contractor/builder. My wife & I did some major renovation work on our house in Thompsonville and Bob was our contractor. He was communicative, cost conscious, conscientious, timely and he and his crew have outstanding skills. We are delighted with the results. If you’re familiar with This Old House, Bob is a combination of Tom Silva and Kevin O’Connor. His carpentry skills and acumen are second to none and he went above and beyond the call of duty in working with various suppliers to help us make our material selections. You may find contractors as good as Bob, but you won’t find one any better. He comes highly recommended.

Mr. Thornton was a pleasure to work with, he listened to my requests and ideas, offered solutions that were within my price range and his employees did a wonderful job completing the project. I am so happy with the the outcome of the project and the interactions with Mr. Thornton.

He has integrity his word is everything! He will make sure the job is done perfect until he is done, His clean up is fantastic, and he is very friendly, and his crew works hard, and I felt very comfortable in my own home.
