"I recently hired Active Home Savers LLC to install a vinyl fence around my property, and I couldnâ t be happier with the results! From the initial consultation to the final touches, Rick and his team were professional, courteous, and incredibly skilled. They completed the job on time and with great attention to detail. The fence looks fantastic, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Active Home Savers LLC for anyone needing quality home improvement services. "I found Patricia Interiors LLC on Facebook. My designer, Natalie is top notch. I hired her services immediately without references or other vetting . I thought "Is this a good idea? It absolutely is. I feel like my projects are her priority. She provides different options always keeping in mind my preferences through every stage of the process. Natalie does it all from helping you pick your style to arranging the contractors to managing the project. I've enjoyed working with someone I can rely on 100%. . Considering her integrity and great gift of interior design, she is the only choice."

"When I hired Amy I was in a very difficult place having lost my husband and mother and lost home and had to move across country. Amy was kind and thoughtful and helped me reorganize my life in a respectful manner. She’s down to earth and helps you decide what to treasure and what to discard or donate. Frankly, I don’t know what I would have done because she helped restore order in my upside down life. I would highly recommend Amy to help you achieve the calm and organization you are looking for. Sincerely, Diane F."

"She has always done an excellent job for me. I use her a lot for my homes and because of her they sell very fast compared to previous stagers I have used in the past. She is amazing at what she does and can include professional photos."

"They must have subcontracted a small group of movers. We only had big furniture that needed moving and it still took them 10 hours to disassemble/pack/load, then drive to our new home 20 min away, and unload/unpack/assemble. However, the job was well done with minimal damage. Most things were assembled well and not much we had to move/adjust"

Home Staging questions, answered by experts

The impact of a walk-in tub on home value depends on various factors, including market demand, demographic preferences, and overall home features. While some buyers may view it as a desirable accessibility feature, others might see it as a niche amenity, potentially limiting the pool of interested buyers. However, it could add value if the walk-in tub meets specific needs or enhances the property's appeal to a target demographic. Ultimately, its effect on home value varies case by case, with factors like installation quality, design, and neighborhood trends playing roles in determining its impact.

While LVP won’t increase home value as much as engineered hardwood, it can increase the value somewhat because it creates a warm and inviting aesthetic. It’s also durable and waterproof, so it can be appealing to homebuyers with pets and children. LVP is very low-maintenance, so that can also appeal to homebuyers who don’t want to spend a lot of time keeping up with an engineered or solid hardwood floor.

The main difference between a home stager and an interior designer is that the former creates temporary, generally appealing spaces, while the latter creates personalized design choices for your permanent home. A home stager seeks to depersonalize your home while also showing off the best features of the home to potential buyers. An interior designer works with you to infuse your personal style into the decor in your home. You’ll typically only hire a local home stager when selling your home.

Understanding the advantages and disadvantages of hiring a home staging service can help determine if it’s the right choice for you.

Pros

  • Helps your listing stand out among other local homes

  • Sell your home faster

  • Increase the value of your home

  • Help potential buyers envision the space as their own

Cons

  • Significant upfront costs

  • Storage cost for items and furniture that don’t fit in the staged rooms

  • Significant time and effort required for renovations and repairs

  • Potential furniture rental costs

In most cases, staging a home is expensive but worth every penny. According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), 81% of agents representing buyers stated that staging made a positive impact on the buyer’s perception of the house and made it easier to visualize it as a home. The value of your home—which is to say the amount buyers are willing to spend—is based on perception alone and not the inherent value of the land or structure. Therefore, improving the appeal of your home through staging is likely to make your home more enticing during a home sale.
