"Everything went very well from start to finish. They arrived punctually and performed the work to raise the slabs of concrete that were sunken to correct the pitch. They even put the new concrete step i purchased in place. I always get two estimates and they were the cheapest of the two. The crew was punctual when the project finally started, which was about a week late due to the late start of spring and the excessive rain we had received prior to the start.
I gave the quality of the job a B because of the damage that occurred to my yard, house and driveway when they were removing the old concrete and pouring the new. The main issue was that they did not put down any protection (plywood) over my lawn like some of the other contractors said they would. Also, the cart they used to transfer the concrete from the cement truck at the road to the house had a flat tire that resulted in additional damage to the lawn and left skid marks on the driveway.
They did a fairly decent job on the cleanup, but there was some concrete spilled into the surrounding area that we did not know about until we tried to dig to plant some plants.
The crew leader was both professional and responsive to any concerns I had.
All in all, the issues were minor and some could have been avoided, but I am happy with the finished product and would hire this company again.
