"I was searching for a tree trimming company with a trained/certified arborist and hit the jackpot. Elbert Holt, who was the company rep in our city was very forthcoming in evaluating my 100 year old oak. It lost some limbs via the 120+ mph winds during the derecho we had in Cedar Rapids, IA on Aug 10, 2020. I wanted to see if it would be harmed by pruning (months before the normal winter pruning season). Elbert reassured me that it would okay to clean up the few broken limbs to provide clean cuts to increase the likelihood it will survive this stressful experience. Their team of climbers did a great job of cleaning up my tree. Their skill and work ethic was fantastic to witness. They also did a huge project at my sisters house to remove limbs from the roof of her house and cutting down 4 trees : one of which was a large diameter (~ 56 in ) silver maple that was growing in between 2 houses. I was skeptical about this company since they were not â localâ . I received great personal reviews from others in town who used their services."

"We needed trimming of a honey locust and a magnolia. Both trees are very important to the aesthetic of our property. Moe came out to the property to look at trees and was very attentive as we discussed what we wanted and didnâ t want. He gave us his thoughts on what would be best for the tress both now and down the road. The conversation with Moe was much more thorough and detailed than with any other companies and I appreciated that. His knowledge and confidence in his planned approach was apparent. The process of receiving and accepting the quote was quick and seamless. Moe kept in touch while we waited for availability which was less than two weeks. On the day of the work, Moe showed up on time with this assistant for the day and go to work. Even though he had a good idea of what we wanted, he checked on throughout the day. He was very conscientious to not trim more than we wanted or to not trim an amount that would be detrimental to the trees. I am pretty sure that I didnâ t hear a chainsaw all day. Everything was done by hand. Moe finished on time and the trees look great. Exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend Moe if you want a high level of care taken with your tree trimming job"

"Brian called first in the morning. He came out in the afternoon to do the quote. I had approximately 10 stumps of different sizes that needed to be removed. There were also landscaping rocks that needed to be moved to access the spots. He moved them for me and did a great job removing the stumps. He was very detailed in describing what was to be done and after finishing the job, he said if there were any issues to please contact him so he can make it right. Very professional!"

"This company performed an awesome job cutting and removing the trees, as this was a big job. The price point was additionally awesome and the time spent doing the job was under three days. Would I recommend for tree cutting is a definite yes. The owner and crew very upbeat. The only issues is, they didnâ t return to complete the job (which is small cleanup of the smaller limbs and proper grinding of some of the trees stumps). Though I have reached out multiple times and the owner informed me he didnâ t have any issue finishing the job, to no avail he has not. So unfortunately I now have to hire another company to finish the job. Again this company does an awesome job at tree removal, but may still have some growing pains in completing things on the smaller side of stump grinding and clean up."

"I was probably the first customer to King Green 20 plus years ago. Jimmie worked for True Green, which SUCKED as a lawn service. They over sold services and every year my lawn had a special disease that needed $$$ buku bucks to treat. After Jim left and started King Green, after the no complete clause time window, I switched to Jim. Guess what, A+++ HONEST TRUSTED SERVICE. Never sold anything never needed!!! My lawn is always deep green, no more diseases or fungus and free re-treat application if lawn didn’t treat to my satisfaction. "Aldo who runs the crew is very personable. I have worked in the trades since 1981. I know good workers when I see them...no leaning on the shovels with this group! They help one another as needed and therefore are very efficient. They arrives at 11am and finished near 6...non stop. Very hot day and drinking lots of water. July 6 they took down a Norway Maple 80 feet tall, hanging over phone wires, and over the roof of a house, removed a pine 50 feet tall taken down over a electrical feed to the house. All the work was done with terrific skill. Afterward they were precise at clean up and cutting the wood for our personal use. The Old Westside tree lovers will find this company a joy to work with. I would use them each time I have a job in the future. We will miss our trees that have been on the property for 50 years and another for 30 years....they were too close to the house for safety...
