The cost was less than his competitors but more than that, the spectacular reviews sold me - he is worth a 6 if one could go higher than 5. He even repaired some old work that caught his eye at no charge. "My 33-year-old fiberglass front door and sidelight had been previously gel stained and topcoated with a UV inhibiting polyurethane several times. Because the bottom half of the door was exposed to extreme sun, that half would always peel making it diffiult to match the top half, so I decided to paint the entire door. MK1 Painting and Finishing to the rescue! Mike was able to find an exterior paint that complemented the cedar trim on our house, and now the door and sidelight look brand new. Jacob (the painter) was extremely meticulous and even returned to fix some minor imperfections. Well done! I highly recomment MK1."

"Sean the son is like a snake oil salesman, made a-lot of promises, and did not deliver. They stated they had the best talent, and the workers they sent in were entry level at best, and could not speak English. They botched a shower tile job, and had to re-do it, but I had to wait 6 weeks for them to find a new tile guy. They did such a terrible job painting a staircase that it needs to be re-done. They hung doors the wrong way, and never finished the job. On top of all of this they agreed to be paid by cash, which we did, but they had a credit card on file, and charged our account without authorization, took the monies and didn't complete the job. They agreed to pay me back $ 3900.00 and never did, and never finished the job. A kind of Fraud. The job is not done and they stopped returning my calls, and they owe me. They said the only way they would pay me was if I signed a document that I couldn't say any disparaging words. Needless to say, I got ripped off. "

"I have hired Rusty Nail 2x in the last month to change the shower head, hang a paper towel holder, fix my coffee bar cupboard that was stuck, hang a full length mirror and most importantly install safety grab bars in the tub.
