Yasir Drywall

Worked with Yasir with our basement renovation. We had the ceiling done in the living space. We also had a full bath and office space added which turned out excellent. Yasir is reliable, professional, and easy to work with.

Absolutely exceptional. Talib went above and beyond. As a little background, I hired a drywaller who did a horrible job and walked off the job before finishing. Talib (Yasir) dived in head first and literally did everything and anything he could to help out. He put in many, many hours of painstaking labor to repair and finish the work. He squeezed me in to his schedule, repaired the work, went the extra mile and truly did an amazing job. His work, personality and fairness will make any customer extremely happy. A+!

Working with Yasir was the easiest decision we made during our basement remodel. His response time was impeccable, as was his customer service. I completely trusted him to do the finishing work on the drywall we had hung ourselves. His work was fast and looks perfect. When hiring a contractor to come into your home there must be a meeting of the minds and a level of trust. I found that immediately after meeting and talking with Mr. Yasir. He was very professional and has a great sense of humor. He made me feel at ease. We discussed a price and a schedule as to when the job would start and a estimated completion date of which he did meet. Day one upon entering the home Mr. Yasir moved and covered all furniture with plastic, he covered all floors and carpet with plastic and neatly applied masking tape to keep it in place. From beginning to end Mr. Yasir was very attentive to keeping the work areas clean. Periodically he wood sweep and vacuum. He tented the rooms off to keep dust to a minimum. In three areas he repaired and installed drywall, joint compound and masterfully applied skimcore to a baby fine smooth finish. Mr. Yasir is truly an artist of perfection in his craft . Great job! Will hire him again for other projects in the future.

Review by Jasmine S. Talib Yasir of Yasir Drywall was excellent. He did our large family room and 4 drywalled openings associated with it. We hired him to fix drywall and drywall “mudding” that was improperly applied by another company that had great reviews on Home Advisor, but had no idea what they were doing. The Other company then walked off the job leaving the drywall and room in an awful state that most companies wanted to just tear down all the brand new drywall instead of trying to fix their mud job and problems it was so bad. During his appointment to quote fixing their work, Mr. Yasir applied some “mud” to some of the existing problem areas to show us how it was supposed to be done, if he could repair their work effectively and as a check to see if the additional moisture would bring out more problems with their inside corner bead tape. He was the only company that came out for a quote where you actually knew they’d be able to do the job. A lot of other companies send an estimator who isn’t even the one who will be working at your home. On top of that, one coat of him applying mud was five times better than several coats and sanding of the previous company! After having such a horrible experience with the previous company’s poor knowledge, skill, work and treatment, it was very nice to get Mr. Yasir who really knew how to “mud” and finish drywall. On top of that, he was very workable and understanding of special circumstances like where the drywall met our brick fireplace surround, needing to get entry through the room he was working in after his work was done, a drywall to molding doorway transition and waiting for patches to be done around improperly cut out electrical boxes. Talib Yasir had to completely recover all the previous bumpy mudding the other company had done, cut out improperly installed inside corner bead that was bubbling and coming away from the corners, redo metal outside corner bead that was improperly installed, fix holes improperly cut out, cover fiberglass tape that was showing everywhere, remove and install drywall that was put on wrong, along with other drywall mudding repairs and then primed. Mr. Yasir takes great pride in his work and is extremely patient in making sure he does his job correctly. One look at the way he “muds” is to look at a great renaissance painter…..artist. Redoing and fixing another companies work took way longer to finish than it would have if he had done the job from scratch but he never complained. We are thankful we hired someone who truly cares about his work.

We hired Yasir Drywall for repairs and painting in our bedroom and master bath. We had mold issues in the bath which required removal of most of the ceiling. Also three small walls above the shower enclosure. He also repaired drywall issues in the bedroom and painted both rooms. Yasir an his team did a tremendous job. The drywall looks magnificent. Yasir and his crew exceeded our expectations!! The workmanship was outstanding. Yasir and his crew were polite, professional, and more than willing to work around our schedules. We would not hesitate to hire Yasir in the future!!!

Yasir did an outstanding job on our huge kitchen and dinning room project. He fixed our drywall mistakes and blended in the old and new drywall in perfectly. Not only was he courteous and friendly but flexible with the work schedule. He even worked on a holiday weekend to help keep our project moving forward. Yasir stayed in constant communication and even followed up a couple days after the completion of the project to make sure we were happy with the quality of work, which we are. Will definitely be recommending him and use his services for future projects.

I hired Yasir over the summer to install drywall as part of my home renovations. He and his team did an outstanding job! Yasir installed and finished the drywall in our newly constructed garage/work shop. The quality of the installation was second to none, and Yasir ensured that all our expectations were met. He not only truly believes in delivering a high quality job that will exceed your expectations, but succeeds in doing so. Our installation was complicated by the ceiling design where he had to work around the trusses to accommodate a storage loft. He and his team did a phenomenal job and we are very happy with the result. He is professional, honest, and does what he says. If you have drywall work to do, his company is the one to call.
