"I love it! Framing and hanging sliding doors that separated kitchen from living room. This is a project that I have wanted to do for a long time and finally got it completed. I own a manufactured home (or as it is called now a mobile home). These homes usually have unique openings and require customized or special orders. John was extremely helpful and brought my vision of what I wanted into reality. He also provided some suggestions which proved to be extremely beneficial. He was quick and efficient with his work. John framed the space from floor to ceiling. John did framing, molding and trim, dry wall (in the space above the doors on both sides), sanded and painted. "Rob removed a (large) gas fireplace (including piping and fake chimney structure) in our living room and put in a sliding glass door. He also built a 16X16 deck off the door. "Since my previous review of DNA I've kept employing Derek Esterline and his associates over and over again, as there's no end of things that need to be repaired/updated/replaced, etc, after thirty-some years of "deferred maintenance." Derek has recently taken on a new partner, John Wright, and I wanted to update my review with a note about how expertly he has fit into the business. John is conscientious, industrious, and a very quick study who appreciates the high levels of skill and experience Derek has to impart. Recently they've given my barn a complete makeover, replacing shoddy roofing, broken windows, siding and hardware as necessary, and power-washing and painting the exterior and trim so that it now looks like something you might find in Martha Stewart's back pasture. They've cleaned up severe storm damage, carefully taking down a huge maple limb that had been weakened and left hanging perilously over the road by gale-force winds. In addition, John's in charge of the bookkeeping chores, cheerfully and diligently dealing with all the paperwork. That he's also an extraordinarily kind person is not necessarily relevant to a review like this, but to the extent that it speaks to a person's character I'll throw that in as well. (I've been so touched by the way he makes sure my very old, blind, dog gets his share of attention and doggie treats.) As far as I'm concerned, Derek and John are the Hallmark Cards of the repair business--for "when you care enough to hire the very best.""

"Quality work. Trustworthy contractor. We went from a traditional, cramped full bathroom to an open concept with glassed in, frameless shower. Glad we included the heated floor given the cold, winter mornings in Michigan. All of the work was done professionally and to last. "We absolutely love VanderHyde!  We had a leak in the pipe for our hot water heat downstairs in our lower level.  They took things apart and found the pipe was laying right on the concrete foundation wall.  They rerouted the pipe away from the concrete wall and did a great job.  They were professional, experts in the field, and very mindful of cost to us.  Very friendly and helpful.

"Alvie from All in One came out the day we called to look at the job and called back the next day with an estimate . They removed the old vinyl and took away the scraps. Installed the square tile flooring in our Kitchen / Dining area, including moving frig and stove to tile under neath. They worked non stop as a team and completed the job in the same day.
