"A ceiling light fixture in my sewing room wouldn?t light. The problem Curt found was an incorrect wiring job. After wiring it correctly he also checked the main panel and tightened all the connections. He was very patient in answering my questions.
I can now see what I am sewing and feel assured the job was done correctly! If we need more electric work done in the future I will certainly call Curt at Phase 2 Electric.

To determine if your ceiling box can support a fan, you must check if it is specifically fan-rated. Manufacturers are required to indicate this on the box itself. You may need to remove the existing light fixture to look inside the ceiling box for an inscription stating it is rated for fan use.
