The Michigan Property Network is a qualified tree service providing specialized services for your business or home throughout Oakland County, Michigan. We offer a free consultation and estimate to determine what professional tree service is best for you. We are well-known in the area for our residential and commercial tree service and can provide you with testimonials and other references from our clients
"I used this company spring 2018 for removal of several trees and a lot of brush, including stump grinding. Price was reasonable, team was professional and hard working. A bit of a mess was left but, oh well. There was a small amount of oak tree trimming needed but I knew that needed to wait until the winter months. Called them in September to be put on the schedule for this. Called back in November to request an estimate for this job since I hadn't heard from them yet. In February, still hadn't heard (and we had a warm, dry few months so this work could have easily been done), called again and Doug came out to assess the job. He said he would text me an estimate at the end of the day...never heard from him. (mistake #1 - should have started looking for a different company) Snow, freezing rain, and arctic temps are now in the forecast. I get a call from Randy asking if I still need this work done and he comes out the next day to provide an estimate. Very nice guy. Work is scheduled. Unfortunately, I did not clarify what his definition of elevate means. (mistake #2) My previous landscaper at my old house defined elevate as removing the bottom 2-3 branches of a tree, enough to raise it a foot higher from the ground. So I said sure go ahead and elevate my pin oak, it would make it easier for me to weed under those branches. I thought they were going to take off the bottom 2 branches. Because it was getting late into March, I scheduled the work on a day when I had to work (mistake #3). Randy assured me he would be on site to be certain trimming was done as we had discussed. When I got home, to my horror, my beautiful pin oak with its beautiful lower downward sweeping branches was trimmed 2/3 up the tree. The explanation I received was that the "climber" didn't think it looked even and continued to cut off branches until it did. That wasn't his tree to make that decision! There was no regard for the beautiful, unique shape of that tree nor the fact that it blocked the view of the neighbor's trampoline directly behind it. A month later, I am still so upset and sad for this tree. I feel like it has been stripped naked. Although the other trimming that day was done ok, I will not use them again. BTW, Doug had also offered two years in a row to remove some excess building materials left by previous owner at the back of my property. I said I was interested in his help with that and he never got back to me."

We offer flexible payment arrangements. We use quality brick pavers made by Unilock as well as a variety of other landscape materials. In addition to the paver manufacturer’s lifetime warranty on the structural integrity of the pavers, Domenico’s offers a 7 year warranty on our workmanship. Domenico Brick Paving & Landscape is a member of the SE Michigan BBB, and the Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA.org). Domenico is also a licensed residential builder in the state of Michigan. Not required for landscape and patio work we do, but helps insure that his company is up to date on all rules, requirements, and new techniques for Michigan construction. This is another distinction that sets apart the services we offer.
"I highly recommend Domenico for any patio/brick paving work. Dave went above and beyond to explain my design options and coordinate new pavers with my existing ones. The respect he demonstrates for his crew, is greatly appreciated as a customer and is apparent in the quality of their teamwork. The crew, led by Jose, were fabulous. Everyone arrived on time and worked diligently to complete my project by the end of the day. Their expertise and input made my patio turn out even lovelier than I’d imagined! Domenico is a class A company and I feel so fortunate to have connected with them through Angi."

OCR, inc. is an owner operated, local business. Our organization performs a combination of in house and subcontracted work to a high standard of quality . Work can be done on an hourly basis or for a quoted price. We pride ourselves in having the ability to lead customers through jobs ranging from small maintenance issues to large, new & renovation construction or landscape projects.
"After coming out to inspect the job, they told me they'd send out other contractors to get an accurate quote ready for me. I required both irrigation fixes along with lawn leveling due to DTE trucks damage. They did send out someone who checked my system, then a follow up with another contractor to check the grading. After which they ghosted me. Tried to contact them, even provided missing information to get the quote done, but never heard back."

Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
