"Maggie" hops right out of the car & heads for the boarding area. Amy is wonderful from the call to schedule to drop off to pick up. There's a nice double gated lawn for the dogs to play & a baby pool to cool off. Very reasonable rates & great care.

Regularly testing the water and adjusting the chemical levels, using a chlorine float instead of tablets that can end up on the floor of the pool, lining the pool, cleaning the stock tank, and managing any rust immediately will help extend the life of the pool.

No, stock tank pools do not get too hot, even when they are set up in a sunny location. Many stock pools are made with galvanized steel and are designed not to get too hot to touch. When your pool is full of water, it is less likely to get hot. The water might be warmer than it would be in an above-ground pool, but it will not be uncomfortable.

If you have kids and want to be extra cautious about the temperature of the stock tank, you may want to set up an umbrella for shade over the pool area.

Aboveground pools take between one day to a few days to install, depending on the pool size and type. Your project may take longer if you’re planning to complete other projects simultaneously, like building a deck around the pool. Size is the main difference between a pool and a spool. Spools are typically about half the size of an average pool, so they’re ideal for yards without the space for a full-sized pool. Spools are also easier to heat, so they tend to be a higher temperature than pools and can be adjusted to get as hot as a spa when it’s time for a relaxing soak. Spools also contain jets and blowers, while most pools do not.
