"I reached out to Kris about lawn mowing this spring/summer. He was immediate with his response and came out right away to begin his service (even when it started raining). He was so fast, but very pristine with his mowing which helps so much since we have customers around often. I?m so grateful for Kris?s help and really look forward to using his business this spring/summer and hopefully years to come! Highly recommend!!"

"Reitaliano?s asphalt and concrete performed 10 stars. Very professional , Prompt timing. The owner present, monitoring and observing. I did this review because DEREK G. Magoon . I took a look into it . Come to find out he is building a drive through dispensary on M113 . I gone and talk to local county officials and he can not open due to no signage out front along with investigation of him selling product out of his garage before his brick and mortar is open. I did ask Reitaliano's About the situation as I was hesitant at first . After seeing text from this Derek Magoon , the work performed from Reitaliano?s I am going to say, Derek Magoon should be held accountable making false accusations on platforms against a company along with these platforms when in fact they have showed up every time w/Derek not ready. From my understanding Derek ran out of financial funds. No sign and actually has not paid for work completed to Reitaliano?s. Instead of paying he bashes Good Company?s !"

"The price was fair. When they originally came to do it, there was not enough road gravel down so we had to have the other guy come back and redo that. We kept getting a promise date and then they wouldn't show. It took a while to get them back so we were a little disappointed with them. We couldn't reach them. We would leave messages and they wouldn't call back. Since we missed our first opportunity, then we got pushed back and they took care of the other places. They should have responded and let us know. When they finally did come the crew was great and the finished product was good. The pricing was in the ballpark. This was set up through our contractor. They did finally come when they said but it took 3 times. We might look for somebody else in the future."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

Building a road on a slope requires careful planning and will normally require a drainage system underneath to prevent flooding and damage to the road over time. Your professional may lengthen your road to create switchbacks if the slope directly to your home is too steep, as there are regulations for maximum road slope. The drainage system will help prevent runoff from the higher side of the slope from damaging the asphalt or concrete. Keep in mind that building a road on a slope isn’t a good DIY project, as a lot can go wrong.

An example of permeable paving is a set of cinder blocks or natural stone pavers with room inside for natural materials, such as gravel, sand, or grass. You can also design these pavers with brick or plastic tiles.

In addition to these pavers, permeable pavement can be obtained by using a highly porous material, such as pervious concrete or pervious asphalt.

While blacktop is a type of asphalt, the terms should not be used interchangeably, as not all asphalt qualifies as blacktop. The primary differences are in their composition, production process, and ideal applications. Blacktop contains more stone than other types of asphalt and is heated to a higher temperature during production—300°F or more—while hot-mix asphalt is heated to between 275°F and 300°F. The ratio of bitumen (a tar-like crude oil) is a key differentiator, though sources vary: some state blacktop has less bitumen, making it less durable, while others claim it has a higher ratio. Due to these differences, asphalt is generally more durable and better for high-traffic areas like highways and streets, while blacktop is more suitable for playgrounds and residential driveways. For a driveway project, it is best to consult a professional to determine the most appropriate material.

Chip seal layers gravel and a liquid bitumen one at a time on-site, while asphalt directly pours a pre-combined mixture. Asphalt must be sealed, but it will last up to four times as long as chip seal driveways. Aesthetically, chip seal has a natural, rustic look compared to the traditional asphalt slab.

If you notice minor cosmetic problems with your driveway, you should seal it. Look out for cracks and holes on the surface, faded asphalt or concrete, and stains from oil and other chemicals. Replacing your driveway may be necessary if you’re dealing with significant problems—¼-inch cracks, large potholes, and puddles from drainage issues. The cost to install an asphalt driveway typically ranges between $4,200 and $9,000, significantly more than resealing. Consider talking to a professional to discuss whether resurfacing your driveway—a midway project between resealing and replacing—is a better option for you.
