He measures accurately and gives you a line by line quote that you can use to purchase the correct amount of flooring from any source you want. If you ask, he'll offer advice, but doesn't push a particular brand on you. His price per square foot ($3/sq ft) was less than any we found - less than Lumber Liquidators.
