Terrible.  Price was quoted and I mentioned I had used orange glo on them.  He said he would have to use a special cleaner and that would be about $100 more.  We agreed on this.  About 2 weeks after the floors were done, they started peeling in different places.  had difficult time getting in touch with him.  Then after another call he came back with another man.  This guy scratched a couple of places with sandpaper and reapplied varnish.  I could tell this was not going to do it.  The peeling was still there after this being done.  The peeling was all around most of the baseboards.  He said this was because of the orange glo.  But we paid extra for the additional cleaning to clean the floor of the orange glo.  I called later about this and never got a response.  I then gave up because I knew that it would worthless to pursue this.  I should have sued him.  He was a complete jerk named Rocky Genoa.   Terrible experience.  I still see he is advertising his fabulous floors in a local book with coupons and deals in it.  This was in the one dated today 3-19-2016.

They started my floor refinishing 2 weeks ago and told me they'd be in and out in 2 days. Well, 2 days has come and gone and my floors still need trim around doorways, the entryway and around the tile around the fireplace. My tile that was laid over a week ago still needs to be grouted. I have tacking nails sticking out of the side of the steps where they removed the carpet (but not the nails?!). I have 4 kids under the age of 7 and 1 has already stubbed his toe on the incompetent job of these 'so called professional floor people'. The job is half done and the guys have been a no show for 8 DAYS!!! I have called several times and each time someone else calls me back and says 'they'll get on top of it'

Went smoothly and quickly.  They did request to do a second coat of polish for an additional $130 which I thought was reasonable.  Floors look fantastic and I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking to restore the shine to their hardwood floors.  Note that any significant scratches will remain after resurfacing which they will inform you of before the work is performed.  Thanks.

After over a month and 4 attempts the floor is still not finished.
On the first attempt the finish the floor the polyurethane began peeling.  I also found 2 staples in the floor sticking up 1/4 inch near the edge of the floor and began to wonder how the company was able to properly sand and lay material without noticing them.
The fabulous floors (FF) came back on the second attempt in order to fix the issue but only did spot treatments.  The spots treated were not smooth and could be easily seen.  There was also a bit more peeling after this visit. I also found a few drips of polyurethane that were mounds 1/8" high.
On the third attempt FF came back again to fix the peeling and rough spots and the drips.  This time they wanted to sand and recoat the entire floor.  After completion they somehow missed one of the drips in the middle of the floor.  There was also more rough spots noticeable.  I also found hair and dust under the layers of poly.
On the fourth attempt they came back and sanded  the rough spots and laid down a thicker coat of poly.  The also tried some chemical wash of some kind.  The workers sanded a spot down too far and removed the stain of a spot on the stained floor. There was also more rough spots than the previous coats.
The floor is still in this state and I am unable to reach the company for resolution.  I have left 3 or 4  voicemail and text messages over the last week and a half but I have not received a call back.  I try calling once a day with no success.  The main office at fabulous floors could not help either because they said each franchise is locally managed.
In my opinion this outfit lacks professionalism.  The workers seem to rush through their work and have little regard for quality.  On the second visit I was told that the workers only did spot treatments because the "lady" would not let the men bring in their equipment which was a fabricated story. On another occasion the worker showed me a piece of flooring they just coated with poly less than 30 seconds earlier and said "look no more peeling", which is troubling since it is impossible to see peeling until the product dries.  And finally they seem to screen calls and avoid customers.  I am still trying to get a hold of the company after more than a week with no success.
I am hoping to get this resolved by either getting the floor repaired properly or getting my money back. I paid for a finished floor without peeling or noticeable rough spots or trapped dust and hair under the layers.

Update:
FF called me back and came out for another attempt.  Coarser sand paper was used and a chemical cleaning.  The result was not good at all. The floor now has almost 30% peeling areas.  They suggested that the wood floor could have contamination.  I am not sure what to believe but it is encouraging that they are trying again. They plan to get back to me with a recommended solution which may be a more durable polyurethane product (I am questioning the durability of the current  poly) or a full sanding down to the wood. I will update my ratings as things progress.

Update (6/19/2014):
2 months later and still not resolved.  I have been calling and leaving messages with the owner and workers.  I was able to contact one of the workers several times and each time he said he would call me right back after he talked to the owner but I got no call back.  My guess is that on most of the call attempts they were screening my calls.  I would have hoped that FF would just tell me their intentions (good or bad for me) instead of screening my calls and trying to ignore my calls altogether.  I ended up reaching the owner after calling from a different phone number.  The owner said that they can do a full sand of my floor to fix any issues. I am reluctant to continue with this company at this point due to their poor customer service but I would like to get this fixed without spending more money.  I will update these details as things progress further.

IT WAS AN OK JOB.  I WISHED I HAD SPOKEN TO THEM BEFORE WE STARTED THE FLOOR PROCESS SO THERE WOULD BE NO HIDDEN COSTS.

They were very professional and did great work.  One guy came out to do the work.  I had to pay a little more for the bedrooms.  They choose the provider becuase of Angie's List Deal of the Day.  House is a rental house.  Nothing unexpected happened.  I would recommend to friends and family.

They did sand, but I noticed that many of the scratches that were there before the sanding were still there after. When I questioned them, I was told that they couldn't remove them without completely sanding the floors down to the bare wood. When the finish was being applied I asked that they use a satin finish to match the living room floor (which butts up to the dining area). They insisted that my finish was semi-gloss. When the finish dried, it was indeed different.  Lastly, when they arrived to do the work, I was told that in order to have the floor completely sealed they would have to put on 2 coats, which cost me another $78. Not told this previous to the work being done. The deal that I had purchased, was more expensive than advertised.

Not exactly what we expected. The guys were in a hurry, raced in and before we could even ask if they wanted to do another floor in the house they were packed up and out the door. Missed a spot right in the middle of our floor too...

The work completed by Fantastic Floors was exactly as they had stated in the proposal. Work was completed on time, on budget and the finished product was great. They came in after the previous contractor had improperly installed the floors, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Rocky was great to deal with - I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The guys were running a little late getting there but they called me and it was not a problem. I had two bedroom floors that were in pretty bad shape, lots of dark stains and discoloration, and they were able to get them pretty evened out. I knew that with this limited type of treatment they would not be perfect but they are in much better condition than they were. The guys were very friendly and professional and I will definitely hire again in the future for all my hardwood floor needs. They did a great job.

I was not happy with their first work. There were still scratches and uneven coloring and I requested they come back out to do the work. When they came out a second time, they sent out the same two gentlemen and asked for an additional $100 to do a second coat of buffing. The floors look a little better after the second visit. Overall, their quality of work does not justify the amount I paid.

Per my request, they did the work in two sections about a week apart.  This allowed me to move furniture from one room to the other without having to take it all downstairs.  The job was done quickly on both occasions, and no mess was left behind.  There were a couple of spots that soaked into the wood and required re-treating after the first visit.  I read comments that this process uses only a light sanding and found this to be the case as well.  The landing still appeared to have spots of the previous coating after treatment by Fabulous Floors.  I requested this area to be re-sanded and coated and this was done on the second visit.
I purchased a deal on Angie's List for this service and found while scheduling the appointment that the service only included one coat of polyurethane.  Therefore, it was necessary to purchase a second coat.  The additional price was unexpected but reasonable.
They showed up when they were scheduled and were in and out of my house within 2-3 hours both times.  There seemed to be a lot of confusion regarding the date of the second appointment due to a computer crash and resulted in 2-3 different phone calls to get it straightened out.  Regardless of this, they did show up when expected.
They were professional and courteous in their dealings.  One of the gentlemen had a tattoo of a naked woman exposed on his forearm.  That did not impact the quality of work performed or the manner in which he spoke to and dealt with me.  I just would have preferred to not see it.
If your floors are worn but in good shape, I would recommend this company and the process they use.

Although they were late, they extended their day to fit us in on the scheduled day. Pleasant, hardworking and efficient. Did some extra staining to make our worn floor areas match up to less worn.  We love our redone floors!

Unfortunately my experience with "Great Offers" is that they always want to sell you more.  And the first words out of the technicians mouth was that the "Great Offer" of light sanding and a single coat of sealer, is not enough for your floor to look good.  You need two coats or it will look splotchy.  The reason why it will not look good is because the light sanding is not taking off all the sealer that currently is on the floor.  When the floor was lightly sanded you could see the parts of the floor where the original sealer was not removed.  When the first coat was applied, then sealer soaked into the area's of the floor that had no sealer and where the sealer hadn't been removed it was very shiny.  The second coat fixed this problem.  Of course there was an extra fee for the second coat, which basically doubled the "Great Offer" price.
Also, I had to suggest to the technician that after the sanding was done and he vacuumed the floor there was still a light dust on the floor.  He was going to put the sealer right over the light dust until I suggest that he wipe it down to remove this dust.  He did this without a problem or argument.  But if I didn't ask him to do this, he would have just put the sealer right over the dust.
Overall they did a great job and the floor looks great.  Unfortunately, the cost was significantly higher than advertised and I had to supervise the work.

Curtis Flooring performed the work for Fabulous Floors (as a sub).  I had a very tight floor installation schedule and needed the floor in before my furniture arrived.  Curtis, from Curtis Flooring, worked with me to schedule the exact time and date that worked out perfectly.
Curtis visited my home about a week before the installation and provided INCREDIBLE feedback.  I was first going to go with an engineered floor.  Instead, Curtis directed me towards the solid hardwood and made a very clear point that they do no cut corners on quality install.  He knew how a floor is supposed to look when it is installed correctly and gave me a plethora of suggestions that changed my entire mindset of what I wanted (thankfully I still had not purchased the hardwood).  After his visit I went to Lumber Liquidators and bought the best 5" solid wood that they had (no underlayment required with this type of install because it is glued and nailed to the sub-floor).
Curtis' crew exceeded my expectations.

This went very well. It's not perfect but it avoids the sanding (which is awful). The floors look great even though they don't have the "new" look that a full sanding gives. Nevertheless, they did a very good job, and the floors really look good. For the price, we would have this done every few years. We had sanding/revarnishing done once before (> 10 years ago) and it was an awful experience, with dust everywhere and some damage to our kitchen island. This process relatively quick and easy, and not that expensive.

The experience was good.  They were on time.  They were professional and they were good.  They got right through it.  We got the furniture moved out of the kitchen and they got the work done in a couple of hours.  The owner answered our phone right away and when we called again to make sure if they were coming, he answered the phone.  The crew were on their way.  They were very responsive.  They responded to the voicemail.  They told me up front that they won't be able to get some grayed area out and it would require more deeper sanding.
