"Very well! A storm blew a large tree branch onto the roof of our garage. I had their business card and called Advance Tree Service for a free quote, and the owner, himself, was at my house in 10 minutes! He was very busy that day with all the storm damage but made sure he and his crew took care of the heavy branch that same day, so the roof would not become further damaged. The remainder of the tree was unhealthy and took a couple more visits to be completely removed. They cleaned everything up just beautifully when they were finished. I will definitely hire them again!"

But if your driveway has foundational problems and/or severe damage, like large, deep cracks and potholes, then it makes more sense to replace it. 

If you're designing a new patio in an area with poor drainage, permeable pavers made from porous materials may help prevent water issues. Most permeable pavers feature a gravel-only aggregate base instead of a concrete base to allow water to flow through instead of getting trapped. While beneficial in some cases, permeable pavers come with higher initial costs and greater load-bearing limitations compared to traditional pavers.

Wet cutting is usually the preferred method. It controls dust, which helps protect your lungs and makes for a cleaner working environment. Local roads and parking lots rely on the Performance Graded (PG) system, chosen based on climate. A PG 64-28 mix, for example, handles a broad temperature range while simpler, more cost-effective mixes are typically enough for residential driveways. The best grade of asphalt depends on traffic, weather, and your budget, which is why a professional’s input is always a smart move before making a decision.
